Dan Hooker was brutally roasted by fans after his comments about Dana White's Power Slap League.

Dan Hooker was not always the biggest supporter of the Power Slap League, retweeting a video of a slap fighter whose face got severely disfigured yet he continued fighting. The caption of the tweet questioned how severe the damage to the fighter was.

However, the New Zealand native recently tweeted that it is now his "favorite" thing to watch:

"SLAP is my new favorite show"

Twitter user @DanielBHervey responded to 'The Hangman' by saying:

"Dana's not gonna sh*g you mate"

Another user named @LeHumbleOpinion believes Dan Hooker is trying hard to keep his UFC contract by promoting the Power Slap League:

"Man is begging to keep his UFC contract"

Fans were questioning the contradictory statements made by Hooker just a few days apart. @berkalog asked the UFC fighter how much Dana White paid him to tweet this out:

"How much did he paid u for this brotha??"

Dan Hooker then went on to say that he had a lot of questions about how the Power Slap League works.

The league is currently surrounded by controversy as fight videos are going viral on the internet. In response, many have questioned the safety of the fighters. Some medical professionals have noted that the slap fighters are at a higher risk of developing problems such as CTE due to the continuous impact on the face.

Hooker tweeted out:

"I have so many questions, when do they weigh in? Do they get drug tested? How much do they get paid?"

He then explained why he likes the Power Slap League:

"It’s like fighting but we skip the bullsh*t and get straight to the knockouts"
