Conor McGregor has left his fans abuzz with excitement after sharing a new shadowboxing clip on his Instagram page. The Irishman can be seen throwing several combinations, before ending the video with a series of high round kicks with his surgically repaired left leg.

While shadowboxing isn't the ultimate indicator of a fighter's readiness, it seemed to not only leave fans at ease regarding McGregor's leg mobility, but also left them confident enough to predict a McGregor win come his UFC 303 fight with former three-time Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler.

Check out Conor McGregor's shadowboxing:

One fan was as confident as can be about the Irishman's chances against 'Iron.'

"Mr tasty shots! Chandler is a dead man walking let's go king!!"

Another used a play on words as he predicted a Chandler defeat at UFC 303 in their welterweight bout.

"'Iron' is getting smelted this summer"

This was echoed by yet another fan.

"Ya chandler's cooked"

Given how many sparring clips McGregor has released since his dreaded leg injury at UFC 264, it is reasonable to assume that he has been ready to fight for some time now, despite Dana White's previous assertions about the Irishman's physical condition.

However, whether he will be the same fighter that fans remember after such a gruesome injury is another question entirely.

Conor McGregor has released prior sparring footage

While his bout with Michael Chandler has finally been given an official date of June 29 for UFC 303, Conor McGregor spent all of 2023 teasing an octagon return without any formalization on the UFC's part. All fans knew was that a bout with Chandler was in the works. Nevertheless, McGregor shared sparring footage.

Fans marveled at McGregor looking sharp and ready to fight, which seemed to be the case in various clips he released on social media, including a training session with fellow Irishman and UFC roster-mate, Ian Garry.
