UFC featherweight contender Ilia Topuria is undefeated in his MMA career with a UFC record of 4-0 and an overall MMA record of 12-0. The German-born Georgian fighter competes on the organization's lightweight roster apart from featherweight and has competed at bantamweight in a previous organization.

In four UFC appearances, Topuria has three knockout victories and two first-round finishes. 'El Matador' is currently No.14-ranked on the UFC featherweight roster. Ilia Topuria is set to face undefeated fighter and No.9-ranked featherweight Bryce Mitchell on the main card of UFC 282 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on December 10th.

Ilia Topuria made his UFC debut against Youssef Zalaal at UFC Fight Night 179. The Georgian fighter fought to a unanimous decision victory in his promotional debut. Following his first UFC fight, 'El Matador' went on to finish his next three opponents.

Topuria's second UFC fight was against Damon Jackson at UFC on ESPN 19, where he knocked Jackson out in the first round. He found another first-round finish against grappling wizard Ryan Hall at UFC 264 after the latter failed to set up a leg entanglement to find his signature heel-hook finish.

In his last outing, Topuria made his lightweight career debut against English mixed martial artist Jai Herbert at UFC Fight Night 204. The bout was explosive, with Herbert dropping Topuria with a head kick and tagging him a couple of more times in the first round.

Ilia Topuria came out strong in the second round and found the kill shot that put the lights out for the English MMA fighter.

When Paddy Pimblett called Ilia Topuria 'hand sanitizer boy'

There is no love lost between Ilia Topuria and Liverpool star Paddy Pimblett. 'The Baddy' was infamous for his comments on the Georgian community and that seems to have been what triggered the beef between the two fighters.

The two had an altercation earlier this year backstage at the UFC London event. Topuria seems to have initiated the melee by grabbing a bottle of hand sanitizer and flinging it at 'The Baddy,' which the Scouser is seen catching and throwing back at him. Before the altercation could escalate, however, both fighters were separated.

When asked about the incident during the event's media scrum, Pimblett had the following to say:

"Who's that? Oh, 'hand sanitizer boy?' Is that who you mean? That's his name from now on, lad. [I] don't refer to his name, his name is 'hand sanitizer' [because] it got bounced off his head. But I don't concern myself with none of that, lad. He wanted to come at me and try and act hard, and he got put in his place, lad."
