Johan Ghazali provided a positive update about his latest training camp with Superbon.
On Friday, June 6, Ghazali will make his ninth appearance under the ONE Championship banner at ONE Fight Night 32. The 18-year-old phenom needs an impressive performance after losing two of his last three fights.
'Jojo' has been matched up against Diego Paez, a 31-year-old American-Colombian who suffered a split decision defeat against Sean Climaco in his promotional debut earlier this year.
Ghazali primarily trains at Superbon Training Camp in Bangkok, Thailand, a gym owned by ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon.

While speaking to Nick Atkin, Ghazali had this to say about his recent training camp alongside the featherweight kickboxing king:
"The fight camp went very good, actually. I'm training alongside Superbon and all the other champions. It went pretty good. No injuries, no sickness, or whatever. It went smoothly."

Johan Ghazali reveals what he learned from Diego Paez's ONE Championship debut
Diego Paez showcased his potential in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division during his previously mentioned debut against Sean Climaco.
Paez's upcoming opponent, Johan Ghazali, studied his first fight under the ONE banner to identify his strengths, which he explained during an interview with Sportskeeda:
"I could see from his debut against Sean that he’s also pretty good at counterstriking. He has good counters and good follow-ups. So I’ll have to be aware of that. Otherwise, nothing really special caught my eye."
Johan Ghazali started his ONE Championship tenure with five consecutive wins, including four by knockout. The 18-year-old sensation has since suffered unanimous decision defeats against Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat and Johan Estupinan, split by a first-round knockout victory against Josue Cruz.
Ghazali's most recent opponent, Johan Estupinan, is scheduled to fight at ONE Fight Night 32 against Taiki Naito. With respective wins on Friday, Estupinan and Ghazali could be set up for a highly anticipated rematch.
