Roberto Soldic (Left) is gearing up for his ONE Championship debut against Murad Ramazanov (Right)

ONE on Prime Video 5 will feature one of the most anticipated debuts in ONE Championship’s history when Roberto Soldic steps into the circle.

The former double champion in KSW has produced one of the best current runs in MMA to become a big name in Europe. ‘Robocop’ went 8-1 in KSW, winning all of his fights via finish and avenging his one loss in an immediate rematch.

Coming into ONE Championship as the former welterweight and middleweight world champion in his former promotion, Soldic was always going to be entering the division near the top.

On his debut on December 2, the Croatian won’t receive any red carpet treatment though as he steps in to face one of the division's best.

Murad Ramazanov is unbeaten at 11-0, with three wins inside the circle. Between his run competing in ONE Championship and the hype around Soldic’s debut, there’s a lot on the line in this fight.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Soldic spoke about his upcoming opponent:

"It's going to be a good fight, a tough fight for me also, but for him too. I'm a big problem when I put pressure and he's strong and he has good control. So we will see, we will see in December, it's going to be a good fight. I like a good fight."

At ONE on Prime Video 5, Roberto Soldic will step into the circle for the very first time with a lot of eyes on him. The Croatian striker comes into ONE Championship with a lot of hype, something that CEO Chatri Sityodtong has echoed. The event will be live and free for North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.

In his post-event press conference following ONE on Prime Video 5, Sityodtong said:

"Roberto Soldic has a lot on his hands, a lot on his plate. Is Roberto as good as they say? Obviously, a two-division KSW champion, arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter out of Europe full stop, today."

Soldic made a name for himself while competing in the European promotion KSW where he became a two-weight world champion at welterweight and middleweight.

‘Robocop’ is making his way into ONE Championship as a feared striker, winning 85% of his fights via KO/TKO.

On December 2, Roberto Soldic will debut against undefeated Russian Murad Ramazanov in a fight with big stakes for the welterweight division. With a win, either man could put himself in contention for a shot at Christian Lee’s recently claimed world championship.

ONE on Prime Video 5 shall deliver one of the most stacked cards of the year with four world championship contests, live and free for North American viewers with a Prime subscription.
