Sean Strickland recently knocked over viral TikTok star Dale Brown during a lighthearted mock combat exchange. The duo were in attendance for a gun store event in Las Vegas, which is where the exchange transpired.

Brown gained global notoriety owing to his self-defense videos on social media, particularly via TikTok, in 2021 and 2022. The veteran airborne paratrooper, author, and self-proclaimed self-defense expert has become a truly polarizing figure in the combat sports community.

While Brown claims to have trained in eight different martial arts, his self-defense techniques have largely been criticized. Alongside his wife Mirela, he notably founded a self-defense system known as Detroit Urban Survival Training (D.U.S.T). Brown is known for his friendly demeanor and willingness to teach his self-defense techniques to others.

Speaking of which, Sean Strickland seemingly volunteered and showcased some of his own self-defense moves during their appearance at the gun store event in Vegas.

While landing a light knee strike on Brown, 'Tarzan' accidentally tripped him. Brown fell back and knocked down a gun display table. Thankfully, he appeared to be unhurt and was a good sport about it, as was Strickland. The MMA star later posted a video of the mishap on Instagram and wrote:

"Well I will say that felt mildy uncomfortable but I think I should start a self defense program???? What should I call it??? last time I get invited to any events lol Thanks for having me @thegunstore"

In another Instagram video, Sean Strickland jestingly highlighted how he ate a shin kick from the self-defense expert. The UFC middleweight wrote:

"I ran up on Detroit Taticool to see what he would do and he went with a Shin kick... In my professional opinion I wouldn't suggest a shin kick when someone runs up on you lol"

Sean Strickland joins Conor McGregor and Jared Cannonier in an elite club after UFC Vegas 67

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and former UFC middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonier hold the distinction of having won UFC fights in three separate weight classes. On that note, Sean Strickland too joined this elite club of fighters by defeating Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Vegas 67 earlier this month.

Sean Strickland, who holds wins at welterweight and middleweight, replaced the injured Kelvin Gastelum on less than a week's notice to fight Nassourdine Imavov. Their bout was contested at light heavyweight.

'Tarzan' impressively won the matchup via unanimous decision. Strickland is likely to return to middleweight, but it's unclear as to who he'll fight next. Fans can expect details regarding the same to unravel soon.
