Tony Ferguson accuses Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler of steroid use, says Chandler has more class than 'The Notorious'

Tony Ferguson has seemingly accused both Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler of steroid use. During his injury hiatus that commenced in mid-2021, McGregor noticeably bulked up. 'El Cucuy' has often addressed the same and accused the Irishman of using steroids.

Ferguson hasn't faced 'The Notorious' inside the octagon. However, he did fight Chandler in a lightweight matchup back in May 2022 and lost via second-round KO. 'El Cucuy' later commented on an Instagram post featuring a photograph of Chandler's physique and insinuated that 'Iron' was on steroids.

Ferguson has once again tweeted that McGregor and Chandler are likely using banned PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs). Furthermore, he alluded to the speculation surrounding McGregor's sexual orientation.

Earlier this year, Conor McGregor, via his official Twitter account, reportedly liked a tweet featuring an explicit video of a man. Subtly referencing the same, Ferguson insinuated that McGregor likes "Breakin’ It in like Brokeback" -- a possible reference to the well-known queer cinema Hollywood movie "Brokeback Mountain."

Ferguson, whose next fight hasn't been announced yet, implied that he'll fight McGregor and Chandler inside the octagon or in court. 'El Cucuy' highlighted that Chandler has more class than McGregor but suggested that both his longtime rivals like "the Cocktailjuice," which is believed to be a jibe that they're 'juicing' i.e. using steroids.

Asserting that the upcoming season of the TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) reality show featuring McGregor and Chandler is the perfect season for cowards, Ferguson wrote:

Conor McGregor's absence from the USADA testing pool and its potential impact on his return

After suffering a gruesome leg injury in his lightweight bout against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, Conor McGregor subsequently opted out of the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) testing pool. 'The Notorious' has bulked up considerably and has consistently hinted at moving up to the welterweight division for his comeback fight.

Speaking of which, UFC commentator Joe Rogan and many others have opined that Conor McGregor might be using steroids. Meanwhile, McGregor has refuted the allegations.

Earlier this month, ESPN MMA's Marc Raimondi reported that McGregor hasn't re-entered the USADA testing pool. Raimondi added that as per USADA's guidelines, McGregor will have to re-enter and stay in its testing pool for six months and pass at least two drug tests before he's allowed to compete in the UFC again.

TUF 31 is expected to air from May 30th to August 15th, 2023. On that note, estimating the timeline for former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor's potential fight against Michael Chandler after the conclusion of TUF 31, Raimondi tweeted:

"Of course, McGregor can still coach TUF without being in the USADA drug-testing pool. There is still time for him to re-enter the pool for a fight in late August or September after the TUF season airs, which is what I fully expect to happen."
