WATCH: Alexander Volkanovski shows off vocals humming to Backstreet Boys

Alexander Volkanovski recently proved that he is more than just the No.1-ranked pound-for-pound (P4P) fighter in the UFC, and his impressive crooning skills are proof of this. The reigning featherweight champion was recently seen matching vocal chords with the Backstreet Boys as he casually jammed along to one of their most popular tracks.

In a video posted by @fullviolence on Instagram, Volkanovski can be seen comfortably sitting on a couch as he sang along to the lyrics of the song, 'I Want It That Way' by the boyband. The 34-year-old can be heard expressing his appreciation for the track as he sang along, exclaiming:

"What a jam."

Soon after Islam Makhachev defeated Charles Oliveira to claim the lightweight title, Dagestan's grappling savant called out Alexander Volkanovski for a super fight. The two champions shook hands in the octagon and agreed to a matchup in Australia for the lightweight title as well as the P4P No.1-rank.

Alexander Volkanovski opens up about his new strategy for Islam Makhachev

Alexander Volkanovski believes his strategy for Islam Makhachev at UFC 284 will see him deviate from his usual game plan. The UFC featherweight champion will be looking to replicate Conor McGregor's two-division success and will try to capture the lightweight title to become a double champion.

While the Australian has dominated the featherweight division, Makhachev poses a challenge like no other. The Dagestani fighter managed to dominantly submit Oliveira, who holds the record for most submissions in the promotion's history, to claim the lightweight crown.

However, 'The Great' isn't rattled, and in a recent interview with The AllStar, Alexander Volkanovski claimed he had the perfect plan in place, saying:

"I feel like I'm gonna catch him. I know I want to capitalize on the feet... So I've got more of a safety net on the feet, can't take [too many risks]... I will take some risks... But I still have a bit of a safety net around it. With this one, I will have a safety net, but I need to capitalize on the feet... I don't want to let the rounds get taken away from me. That's why I feel like I'm going to get the finish."

Both Volkanovski and Makhachev boast impressive professional records. They have only had one loss in their careers and have dominated their respective divisions to the top.

Volkanovski last beat Max Holloway in their trilogy fight at UFC 276 via unanimous decision. Makhachev last won the lightweight strap by defeating Oliveira via second-round submission at UFC 280.
