Tony Ferguson has taken to social media to put forth a wholesome video of himself getting tripped over by one of his dogs. 'El Cucuy' was seemingly starting an uphill run when he ran into his German Shepherd, who was also making its way uphill.

The former interim UFC lightweight champion resultantly tripped and fell to the ground. Thankfully, Ferguson appeared to be relatively unhurt and returned to his feet immediately. The 39-year-old then made his way back to the camera that he'd placed downhill.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Tony Ferguson posted a video of the wholesome fumble with his dogs. Additionally, 'El Cucuy' attached the following statement alongside the video:

"“What An A**hole!!!” Earmuffs!!! Jkjkjk I Run So Much My Pup Cuts Me Off To Slow Me Down *mack* Around The Four To Five Mile This Dude Starts Playing Mind Games Good Boy Imanari A.K.A. Is a potential rematch against an old rival on the cards for Tony Ferguson?

After his legendary 12-fight win streak ended in 2020, Tony Ferguson subsequently suffered five consecutive losses. Ferguson's most recent fight witnessed him lose to Nate Diaz via fourth-round submission in a welterweight bout in September 2022. Be that as it may, the MMA legend has vowed to return stronger than ever.

While Tony Ferguson's next opponent and exact comeback date hasn't been officially announced yet, many believe that a possible rematch against old rival Michael Johnson could be the ideal comeback fight for him.

Michael Johnson, who defeated 'El Cucuy' via unanimous decision back in May 2012, recently took to Twitter to challenge him to a fight at either lightweight or welterweight. Offering Ferguson an opportunity to avenge his 2012 defeat, 'The Menace' tweeted:

"Yo Tony Ferguson, not sure if you're still in the big game, but if so and you want to come back to 55, I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. Or, we can do it at 170 also! Let's give the fans what they want!"
