Paulo Costa is known for being more than just an entertaining middleweight fighter in the octagon. The Brazilian, who claims to be 'The Meme God', is also popular among fans for his hilarious antics on social media.

In a recent post by Combatalk on Instagram, Costa can be seen allegedly texting the wrong Jake Paul, Dana White, and Nate Diaz. In a compilation of his texts to people with the same names as those mentioned in the previous sentence, 'Borrachinha' serves a healthy dose of comedy.

Chatting with seemingly random individuals, 'Borrachinha' texted another person with the name Jake Paul saying:

"Bro you're not a real boxer. Nobody will ever consider you one! Keep fighting cans lmao. Do***e. That Woodley fight was fixed uh?"

Similarly, Costa seemingly texted a the wrong Nate Diaz with:

“You really think you have a chance against Chimaev? He’s just going to use you as a punching bag like everyone else you fight.”

Upon clarification of their identity, Costa offered no response but rather doubled down, demanding the random Jake Paul to sign the contract.

Keen-eyed users were quick to point out that the post was fake and was originally sourced from a Facebook group called UFC Sh**posting. However, Costa did indeed repost the funny parody chats on his own Instagram account.

Paulo Costa praised by Israel Adesanya for being "funny" and learning to speak English

Paulo Costa trolled Israel Adesanya in a series of funny tweets after the latter lost by TKO to Alex Pereira at UFC 281. The two middleweights had previously faced each other at UFC 253, where the Nigerian-born Kiwi handed Costa his first professional loss via a second-round knockout.

'Borrachinha' humorously asked for the white belt that he threw at 'The Last Stylebender' in their face off.

Costa also posted a video of him dancing after Adesanya got knocked out by Pereira in the fifth round.

Despite all this public trolling, 'The Last Stylebender' has claimed that he finds Paulo Costa "funny" and lauded him for his efforts to promote himself.

Adesanya appeared on the Flagrant podcast after UFC 281 and shared his thoughts on Paulo Costa:

"But I like him...I think he's really funny. His whole schtick with USADA - the 'secret juice'. Also, kudos to him as well for learning English. A lot of these fighters - they don't get as big as they need to be because they don't learn English, and they don't promote themselves and don't get to that level they need to get at. But he's done that and he's doing the work so, shout out to Costa!"
