Abdu Rozik is a Tajik singer who etched his name in the record books as the world's smallest singer. Hailing from Tajikistan, Abdu Rozik shot to fame owing to his unique talent for singing Tajik rap songs. His presence can mainly be seen on the YouTube channel called Avlod media, which has over 580K subscribers.

As per the records found online, Abdu Rozik is currently 19 years of age, although his exact date of birth is not known. Rozik was born in 2003 to the family of a gardener in the village of Gishdarva in the Panjakent district of Tajikistan.

As a child, Rozik suffered from rickets and his parents couldn't get him treated due to a lack of adequate financial resources. This is what eventually led to the stunting of his growth. At the age of 16, Rozik weighed a mere 12 kg.

The teenage singer moved to the city of Dushanbe for his online career, where he was financially supported by a Tajik blogger/rapper named Baron (Behruz). Baron was the first to recognize Abdu Rozik's talent and persuaded his father to allow Rozik to pursue a career in music. Baron also took Abdu Rozik for a medical examination and found that his condition can be treated to allow a growth of 40-50 cm.

Abdu Rozik made headlines last year for a rumored "fight" with fellow internet sensation, Hasbulla Magomedov a.k.a General Vgorode. It was a PR stunt staged by Chechen MMA fighter Asxab Tamaev, who at the time was close with Hasbulla. The two have parted ways since. His promotion of the said fight was heavily criticized by Russia's Dwarf Athletic Association as well as the mixed martial arts community.

Here's a video of Rozik and Hasbulla facing off:

While he is not related to the MMA legend, Hasbulla has been called 'Mini Khabib' as many fans find him bearing a close resemblance to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The two certainly appear to know each other as Khabib often shares videos of Hasbulla Magomedov from his Instagram account.

Abdu Rozik, meanwhile, has his own friends from the world of MMA as he posts pictures with a Persian fighter named Mohammad Heibati.

What is Abdu Rozik up to nowadays?

Abdu Rozik has now seemingly moved on from the world of combat sports while his former nemesis Hasbulla continues to dabble with Russian fighters. Rozik has shot to fame all over again by featuring in the latest season of the popular Indian reality show Big Boss.

The show is based on Big Brother, where contestants live together in one house isolated from the outside world. They are voted out on a weekly basis, until only one remains and wins the cash prize. During their stay, contestants are continuously monitored by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones and are assigned several tasks to complete by the "Big Boss".

The 19-year-old Tajik singer has become everyone's favorite in the House owing to his adorablity factor and charming voice.

Rozik has also released his debut Hindi single recently, titled 'Chota Bhaijaan', as an ode to Bollywood icon Salman Khan, popularly known as 'Bhaijaan' amongst his fans. Khan is also the actor who hosts Big Boss.

Earlier this year, Khan noticed Abdu Rozik at the IIFA awards and offered him a role in his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan. Offering his gratitude, Rozik said:

"Today, on October 8, I am launching my first ever Hindi song, a dream I had since I was young watching the old cassettes of all those old famous Hindi movies in my village in Tajikistan. I am personally dedicating this to Sir Salman Khan Bhaijaan who inspired me to visit India and gave me a chance in his movie 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan.'" [h/t Khaleej Times]

Rozik recently left the Big Boss house impressed by reacreating an iconic movie dialogue.

In a promo video for the show, host Salman Khan asked the male housemates to recreate the 'Pushpa' dialog from the Allu Arjun starrer. While MC Stan, Ankit Gupta, Shiv Thakare delivered the dialog impressively, it was Rozik who stole the show.
