The latest Warframe update, The Duviri Paradox, adds a relatively long single-player quest to chew through, as well as a brand-new free-roam landscape. After Cambion Drift in 2020, this is the fourth open-world node added to the game. These open worlds or new tilesets generally ship with a new faction to do bounties and retrieve rewards.
Digital Extremes may have noticed the faction bloat slowly creeping up on the game, as they have chosen to introduce no such faction with Duviri. Teshin's Cave serves as a compact leeway into all Duviri-related content, as well as its hub world. The progression to climb through this time is a new Drifter-related Intrinsics table.

What are Drifter Intrinsics?
More experienced Warframe players may be familiar with the Railjack system that was added with the Empyeran update a few years ago. For those unfamiliar with it, Railjacks are massive spaceships able to travel independently of the solar rail system, i.e., the 'true' outer space. More importantly, many of its systems are tied to a set of individual skill trees dedicated to different aspects of it, which are known as intrinsics.
The Drifter intrinsics are exactly the same thing but largely exclusive to the Drifter/Operator and how they interact with the Duviri-related locations, i.e.
- The main free-roam world of Duviri.
- The Undercroft- the site of Duviri quest stages where you actually use your Warframe.
- The Circuit- an independent endless mode set in the Undercroft.
Farming Drifter intrinsics in Warframe
Railjack players should note that the Drifter intrinsics are not tied to affinity in any way, so don't bother using up your Affinity Boosters. Drfiter Intrinsics acts as a resource obtained through doing quests and side activities in Duviri. These only drop as mission rewards, so even Resource Boosters do not double them. The only way to fasten the farm is to complete Duviri spirals in a time-efficient manner.
As of update 33.0.10, each Duviri quest stage rewards three Drifter Intrinsics, and Undercroft stages reward six, on top of the 15 Intrinsics gained from doing the final stage. One complete run through the Lone Story mode will fetch you about 40 points.
You should also note that Steel Path modifiers will award you only seven extra Intrinsics on the final stage and not affect the rest of the payout. For ease of completion, just normal mode is therefore recommended for the time being.
Additionally, going through The Circuit rewards you with three Intrinsics per round. Purely as a medium of farming intrinsics, this still remains by far an inferior option.
The best-case scenario for farm intrinsics is having a dedicated squad. The general strategy is that one player completes the quests while the rest scurry off to different side objectives, rewarding intrinsics - especially the collectible Lost Islands of Duviri fragments (5x intrinsics).
