You can make Pals work on various base-related tasks in Palworld. All Pals come with unique work suitabilities that make them fit for certain tasks; they won’t be forming anything outside their forte. Some Pals have single specialties like Lumbering Work Suitability, while others may specialize in a myriad of different fields.

When you assign Pals to tasks, they usually work diligently if you look into their well-being. However, they tend to slack sometimes when they fall sick or get stuck somewhere in your base.

This is acceptable to an extent, but what if the Pals make a mess instead of being efficient? Imagine yourself assigning a Pal to transfer resources from point A to a storage unit at point B. It would be extremely frustrating if, instead of placing the items inside the storage, the Pal dropped them near the unit, making a mess in the base.

This is exactly what happened with a Reddit user, u/silver-potato-kebab, who shared a video of their Pal making a huge mess when assigned to transfer items to a storage container.

Palworld player shares a clip of a terribly inefficient Pal that is supposedly the best worker in the game

In the Reddit post by u/silver-potato-kebab, we can see a 16-second video of Anubis proving to be a menace. This Pal is supposed to be the most efficient worker in the game, but here, we can see that it makes a massive mess.

When assigned to a task that requires Transport Work Suitability, the Pals are expected to take resources from Lumbering Stations, Mining Stations, and various other units that produce consumables and place them in the closest Storage Units.

In the clip, we can see that u/silver-potato-kebab has the largest Storage Unit in Palworld. Despite that, Anubis carelessly drops small packs of resources all over the floor near the container. This can be infuriating as you would have to pick these up manually and either keep them in your inventory or place them in the container yourself.

A Reddit user, u/Difficult-Rest8524, said that the original poster deserved all of the inconvenience, pointing out the negligence dealt out to the Pals working at their base in Palworld.

You can see the worker Pals' condition in the video clip's top-right corner. None of the Pals were in good condition, which means that the inefficiency wasn’t an in-game bug but something that the owner had to take care of.

Another Palworld player, u/Indie–Dev, sympathized with the original poster as they, too, dealt with something similar to what was shown in the clip. They said that sometimes the Pals at their base know what needs to be repaired but can’t find a route to it. This makes them glitch out and stagger in one place.

Some other commenters appeared confused regarding the fact that Pals can fix structures using Repair Kits in Palworld. Another Reddit user, Impressive-Vehicle-6, said that sometimes, the Pals take the Repair Kits from the Storage Units and deposit them at their character’s feet.
