Moonton Games announced a release date for Zetian in MLBB, and the Mobile Legends Bang Bang community has been on their toes ever since. According to the in-game news, players can get the hero for free by participating in events. You can grab the burst-heavy Mage hero in three ways after her launch.

Participate in the in-game event to get Zetian in MLBB for free
According to the in-game news, the new Mage hero will arrive in Mobile Legends Bang Bang along with the MLBB Phoenix Empress Rising patch update on June 18, 2025. The developer will run an in-game promotional event between June 18, 2025, and July 4, 2025, during which you can get Zetian in MLBB for free.

During this event, you must complete certain in-game tasks to earn Jade Pendants, the event-exclusive tokens. After gathering enough tokens, you can use them in the event shop to purchase Zetian in MLBB for free, within five days of her launch.
You can earn the Jade Pendants by completing the specified Daily Training and Trials of Valor Tasks. According to the in-game event banner, you can earn these pendants via daily logins and completing matches in Classic, Ranked, Brawl, or MLBB Rising Open game modes.

The in-game event banner also states that you can earn up to 170 Jade Pendants from completing the Daily Training tasks, and up to 90 Jade Pendants by completing Trials of Valor tasks. So it seems like you only need to earn 260 Jade Pendants to grab Zetian in MLBB for free.
Other methods to get Zetian in Mobile Legends Bang Bang
The other two methods to grab the new hero in Mobile Legends Bang Bang are more traditional. You can purchase the hero using Diamonds or Battle Points (BP).

It seems like Moonton Games will not bring the usual launch week offer for the new Mage, which would have allowed players to get a 50 Diamonds discount on purchasing the Hero using Diamonds.
Zetian will cost 599 Diamonds or 32000 Battle Points, and will be purchasable in the shop after her launch. If you have enough Diamonds and a Diamond Coupon, it might be better to use Diamonds to purchase her, as you can save the Battle Points to purchase another hero later. Purchasing the new hero using the Diamond Coupon will cost approximately 549 Diamonds.
However, since Diamonds are the rarest and most effective in-game currency, you can also use BP, save the Diamonds, and use them in the next draw event to get a new skin for your favorite hero.
