John Hunter Nemechek is back in the 2024 Cup Series with Legacy Motor Club. He has honed his skills for two years in the Xfinity Series after his debut season in 2020. Nemechek will be looking forward to proving his worth in the series with hopes of attracting better sponsors and a full-time seat in better and competitive teams of the Cup Series.

He started the season with a bang, producing a Top-10 finish in the opening race of the season. Hunter has claimed two Top-10 finishes in the 2024 Cup Series season as of the GEICO 500 race. He was 7th in the Daytona 500 and 6th in the Food CIty 500.

John Hunter Nemchek is a second generation driver and he gets his name from his uncle, John Nemechek who was an ex-NASCAR racer. Nemchek made his debut in the Cup Series during the 2020 Cup Series with Front Row Motorsports.

He has claimed 10 victories in the Xfinity Series and placed fourth in the final drivers standings in the 2023 season. Nemechek is also the Regular Season Champion of the 2021 Craftsman Truck Series championship. He began his racing career when he was merely five years old, racing bikes, go-karts and midget series cars.
