He also races part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, piloting the No. 20 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing and the No. 26 Toyota Supra for Sam Hunt Racing.
John was born on 11th June, 1997, to former NASCAR Xfinity Series winner Joe and Andrea Nemechek in Mooresville, North Carolina, USA. He was named after his uncle John, who was tragically killed in an accident at the Miami Speedway earlier that year. One of Nemechek’s notable achievements in stock car racing was winning the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Regular Season Championship, while driving the Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports. During that season, he secured five race victories and ultimately finished third in the playoffs.
