The driver was blessed with both talent and lineage which secured him a seat fairly easily and in one of the competitive teams of the sport. TY Gibbs was the Rookie of the Year in 2023. He finished 18th in the Drivers Standings after the final race.

TY Gibbs was the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series and 2021 NASCAR ARCA Menards Series Champion. He is the grandson of Joe Gibbs, who is the owner of prominent NASCAR team, Joe Gibbs Racing.

TY Gibbs driver no. 54 Toyota Camry XSE for Joe GIbbs Racing in the Cup Series. He debuted in 2023 and he is yet to win a race in the Cup Series, as of April 2024. TY Gibbs has made a blistering start to the season and he is sixth in the Drivers Standings before the GEICO 500 race. He is yet to win a race in the NASCAR Cup Series.

TY Gibbs Salary

Tyler Gibbs is the newest addition to the sport of NASCAR. His salary figures haven’t been made public by the team or himself. As such, it can only be speculated that the salary of TY Gibbs will be around $1 million or even less which goes in accordance with the rookie trends of NASCAR.

However, TY Gibbs has backing from the best sponsors. His partners which have listed on his official website are, Monster Energy, Interstate Batteries, Toyota, Shriners Children Hospital. TY Gibbs also got a huge amount of prize money from the Xfinity Series.

TY Gibbs Contract

TY Gibbs used to race for Joe Gibbs Racing ever since he made his debut in international motorsports. It was natural that he entered the NASCAR Cup Series with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2023.

Gibbs has a three-year contract with JGR, according to Spotrac, which will end after the 2025 season. He already bested all other rookies in the 2023 season solidifying his position in the sport. TY Gibbs is JGR’s newest bet in the championship and the familial connections he has in JGR have been helping him throughout his career.
