Joseph Nicholas Gallo, better known as Joey Gallo, is an American professional baseball outfielder and first baseman currently on the Minnesota Twins roster of Major League Baseball.


Born on November 19, 1993, in Paradise, Nevada, United States, Joey was picked up in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft by the Texas Rangers. He went on to make his debut with them in 2015. Joey has gone on to also play for the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Twins, which he is currently playing for.


Known for his power at the plate, Joey has established himself as one of the most powerful hitters in the league. His form has resulted in him being selected to the 2019 and 2021 MLB All-Star Games and handed him two Gold Glove Awards in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
