The prequel to the most loved American fantasy drama series Game Of Thrones, House of the Dragon is based on the events that lead up to the beginning of the decline of House Targaryen and about the devastating war of succession known as the "Dance of the Dragons." The series is based on parts of George R.R. Martin's 2018 book Fire & Blood and is about the events that took place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones.


The first season of House of the Dragon was aired on August 21, 2022, and received highly positive reviews in factors of character development, performance, and cinematography. The finale episode of the first season, "The Black Queen" left many fans critically thinking and discussing what the conflict between the Targaryen house and Queen Rhaenyra would be.
