The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) season 15 aired a brand new episode on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 8 pm ET on ABC. It documented the cast members spending quality time with each other, while also navigating personal and professional dynamics, strained relationships, friendships, and many other issues, creating a lot of drama throughout the course of the episode.
On this week's episode of RHOA, Marlo was upset about Kandi's restaurant shooting incident not being addressed publicly by the latter. She reflected on her own nephew's death through shooting and felt that Kandi should've been more transparent like she'd been with her life. She lashed out at Drew, who had initially asked Kandi about the same.

Tonight's episode of RHOA saw the cast members spend a good amount of time together, having fun while also trying to solve issues among themselves. While some managed to talk it out and move on, others only took a turn for the worse when their arguments became even more heated.
The official synopsis of the episode, titled A Star is Re-Born, reads:
"Drew receives an invitation to perform with friend and R&B artist Candiace Dillard-Bassett, sparking hopes of relaunching her stalled music career; Kandi reveals that Momma Joyce's harsh comments at BravoCon have upset Todd and their kids."
The RHOA cast members went to support their friend and castmate Drew Sidora when she took a step forward in launching her music career. She performed with her friend and a Potomac housewife Candiace Dilliard Bassett. The ladies showered Drew with love and support, however, drama soon followed.
Drew Sidora asked Kandi Burruss about the incident at her hotel, indicating the shooting incident that took place in Blaze Steak & Seafood, where an employee shot their coworker in the arm. While the former didn't mention the word "shooting," as it might be triggering for Kandi, fellow castmate Marlo wondered the reason behind the same.
Kandi Burruss, for her part, told her fellow RHOA cast members that it was a private matter and was being handled. Marlo Hampton got up and expressed her wish to go home as she felt that issues concerning Kandi were always "swept under the rug," when she had always been transparent about her life.
While the topic died down for a bit, tensions increased half an hour after production wrapped. Marlo asked Drew why the latter didn't specify the incident as "shooting." The fellow housewife expressed that there was no need for it as it was already everywhere on the news.
As part of her explanation, Drew stated that the word itself was triggering for her as well as she's lost people because of it. In a confessional, Marlo revealed that her nephew, who worked at Kandi's restaurant was also shot in his house by his roommate. So she felt it was unfair that no one asked Kandi to talk about the incident at her restaurant.
Marlo was upset that fellow RHOA castmate Kandi didn't care enough about her nephew's incident. She further said:
"Nobody can make Kandi talk about anything she don't want to chile...and people allowed her to get away with it. But guess what? I'm calling you out."
Drew eventually tried walking out of the conversation, but it was soon followed by a huge blowout by Marlo, who started screaming about the death of her nephew, leaving the former stunned.

Fans took to social media to slam Marlo for her behavior. They felt it was unnecessary for her to ask Kandi to open up about the incident because of her own life experiences.
Fans were also confused with Marlo lashing out at Drew when her issue was with Kandi.
