Boogie's altercation in Japan took place at a club during the Magic City Takeover event at Zouk Japan, Tokyo, on October 3. Rapper Future's team was reportedly also involved, although the rapper himself was not spotted in the scene, per Hot 97. The event was supposed to be a musical event, but soon turned into a brawl after money was reportedly thrown around.

The footage was obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, where Boogie was seen wearing bright yellow Nike Air Jordan 4 sneakers. He appeared to be saying something to the crowd but it could not be recorded in the video. Per Hot 97, witnesses claimed the rapper's team was a big part of the brawl and was aggressive in their behaviour. No arrests have been made on the case.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift released her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. In one of the 12 tracks in the album, titled Ruin the Friendship, Swift namedropped 50 Cent, alluding to his music. The specific lyrics were:

"And it was not an invitation/ But as the 50 Cent song played/ Should've kissed you anyway."

Cent shared his thoughts on Instagram about him being mentioned in Swift's lyrics after the album dropped. This also marked the first time Swift mentioned the rapper in her lyrics. In his Instagram post, Cent shared an image of The Life of A Showgirl, and wrote:

"@taylorswift sh*t is popping right now, 😏she shout me out, 🤫she don’t shout you out. LOL 😆 THIS IS FOR BIG TIMERS ONLY! @50centaction wait I’m the only shout out on the whole album. 🔥"

In another follow up post (now unavailable), 50 Cent also mentioned that he is a "lowkey Swiftie", once again celebrating that he was the only artist who was mentioned in Taylor Swift's album. It is worth nothing that Cent and Swift have not officially collaborated on music.

While Swift did not mention any other musical artist on The Life of a Showgirl, she namedropped other entities in her lyrics. Notable mentions include Elizabeth Taylor - a track named after the iconic Hollywood actress, Ophelia - a character from from William Shakespeare's Hamlet in her song, The Fate of Ophelia, and also the Spanish football club, Real Madrid, in Wi$h Li$t.

Apart from Swift's album, 50 Cent has also recently commented on the verdict in the Sean Diddy Combs case, when the rapper was sentenced to four years in prison on charges of transportation to engage in pr*stitution.
