The swoosh label's continous efforts with Michael Jordan over the years has resulted in the release of one the most popular and iconic sneaker lineages.

The duo's partnership is now almost four decades old after kickstarting in 1984. The dynamic duo has revolutionized not only the sneaker community but fashion and basketball, too.

The iconic Air Jordan sneaker lineage started in 1985 with the release of tje Air Jordan 1 High, a sneaker model that was designed by the legendary swoosh label's veteran Peter Moore. The Nike site introduces the sneaker model and its current-day value as follows:

"Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball consciousness. He took the court in 1985 wearing the original Air Jordan I, simultaneously breaking league rules and his opponents."

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 High "Metallic Gold" will be released exclusively in women's sizes. The pair is given a unique combination of subtleness and flair together to suit women's tastes. The shoe comes clad in a "White/ Metallic Gold/ Gum Light Brown" color scheme, which comes constructed in leather material.

Although photos of the colorway hasn't been revealed yet, they're likely to be the same as the mock presented by Sneaker Files and ZSneakerheads. The base of the shoe will be clad in a white hue, which can be seen accentuated on the perforated toe boxes, mid panels, forefoot, lacing system and heel counters.

The almost monochromatic white is punctuated with gold accents on the collars, winged basketball logo, Nike Air tongue tag branding and profile swooshes on both the lateral and medial sides. The look is finished off with white midsoles and light brown rubber outsoles.

The Air Jordan 1 High "Metallic Gold" sneaker pair is rumored to be released via the e-commerce site of Nike, SNKRS app, and select Jordan brand retailers in Spring 2024 for a retail price of $180.
