Teresa Gets Married: All about the RHONJ season 13 special episode

Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) star Teresa Giudice is all set to give her loyal fans a glimpse into her very glamorous wedding to Louie Ruelas. The series' special episode, titled Teresa Gets Married, is all set to premiere on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 8 pm ET on Bravo. It will document a fair share of fun, party, love, and drama as the couple celebrate their marriage with all of their friends and family.

After wrapping up a dramatic season 13 of RHONJ, viewers can expect some lighthearted moments on Teresa Gets Married. However, the impending tensions will not be left behind as the wedding will be missing the bride's most important family members - her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

The wedding will also see other cast members of the Bravo show, including Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania and boyfriend Paulie Connell, Jennifer and Bill Aydin, Jackie Goldschnider, Danielle Cabral, and Jennifer Fressler.

Teresa Gets Married will air as part of RHONJ season 13

Season 13 of RHONJ has been packed with a lot of drama over the past two months. The cast members navigated several dynamics, including personal and professional commitments, strained friendships and relationships, as well as family drama. The installment came to a close last week with the Gorga-Giudices severing ties even more.

Teresa Gets Married comes as a relief period for viewers as it airs following the aftermath of a dramatic season finale and before a dramatic reunion. The special episode will document the much-awaited wedding of Louie and Teresa from scratch and will see the two lovebirds sharing the entire process with fans.

The official synopsis of the episode reads:

"Days after the explosive Prohibition Party, Teresa and Louie prepare to celebrate the wedding of their dreams; with news of Melissa and Joe not attending, Teresa and her family make the best of the circumstances and celebrate with chosen family."

The wedding episode will also feature Teresa's four daughters with ex-husband Joe Giudice - Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, and Louie's two sons, David and Nicholas, from his previous relationship.

Viewers will also see many other franchise Housewives making an appearance, including Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) stars Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey, Potomac housewife Ashley Darby, Real Housewives of Dubai (RHODubai) cast member Chanel Ayan, Miami's Alexia Nepola, and Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY) alums Jill Zarin and Dorinda Medley.

The trailer as well as the first look of the RHONJ special documented several conversations around Joe and Melissa Gorga opting out of attending the wedding due to the family drama with Teresa and Louie. In a conversation with Dolores and Jennifer, Teresa's eldest daughter Gia expressed her sentiments with her aunt and uncle not being present.

In a confessional, Gia said:

"When I heard he (Joe Gorga) wasn't coming, I was just like..."Wow." At this point, it's like, you really did just completely burn the bridge..like, it's..it's over for everybody, including me and my sisters."

Emotions will run high at the RHONJ special after more issues between the Gorga-Giudice family pop up. The trailer saw Joe and Melissa posting on social media allegedly throwing shade at Louie and Teresa, which doesn't sit well with the former who angrily threatens to "bury them" if the Gorgas keep posting more.

Season 13 of RHONJ ended on an extremely tense note with the family drama still left fresh and lingering amongst the cast. There is only more to come as they rehash the issues and try to resolve them at the dramatic reunion. Viewers will have to wait and see what's in store for them ahead.
