Though he wasn't originally planned to compete at AEW All Out, PAC made a fine substitute for Jon Moxley. After the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was forced to pull out of the show due to an infection, PAC stepped in to face Kenny Omega, demolishing the Canadian to the extent that the match had to be stopped.

PAC was awarded the victory, which as a heel, he was glad to take, but that may have put him at odds with fellow wrestler Cody Rhodes.

As AEW Executive Vice President, Rhodes wants what is best for his wrestlers, and the actions of the former Neville may have crossed a line for the former NWA Heavyweight Champion. Though these two faced off in WWE, neither was treated as the star they are in 2019, and a feud between them could definitely elevate both their careers.

As former WWE Superstars, both men are also more recognisable to the casual viewer on the street than say some of the lesser known stars of AEW, and having the two face off could help bring in a bigger audience.
