What's the story?

All Elite Wrestling have made waves over the past week with the signing of Chris Jericho, and rumors rife regarding some other huge names.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet via his YouTube channel, Jericho was asked whether CM Punk or Kenny Omega will follow him to AEW, and he gave some very interesting answers.

In case you didn't know...

At the end of the AEW Double or Nothing Rally this week, Chris Jericho shockingly appeared and confirmed himself as their latest signing to send the wrestling world into meltdown, joining the likes of Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks and PAC in sealing their place on the roster of the new promotion.

The heart of the matter

On Chris Van Vliet's YouTube channel, Chris Jericho was recently a guest and answered questions about exactly why he chose to sign for All Elite Wrestling rather than WWE, as well as speaking about whether AEW could sign CM Punk or Kenny Omega.

On the subject of CM Punk possibly signing, Jericho remained coy, stating that Punk is "retired" but that he'd obviously be very welcome.

CM Punk's not so much a free agent as he is a retired wrestler, from what I understand. Of course we'd love to have Punk come in there.

The possibility of Kenny Omega signing, though, is a very real one - which Jericho acknowledged with a nice teaser.

Once I signed, the last remaining huge free agent is Kenny Omega. Jericho and Omega were the two. Where's he gonna end up? I hope it's with AEW, I really do. I guess we'll find out, because his contract ends very quickly.
