Bio

David James is a former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. The Englishman earned 53 caps for England and is currently fourth on the list of all-time Premier League appearances, having played 572 games in the top-flight.

He represented Watford, Liverpool, Manchester City and Portsmouth among others in the Premier League and also enjoyed a brief coaching spell with Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League.

James was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2012 for his exemplary service to sport and charity and has featured as a pundit for BT Sport and the Sony Sports Network after his retirement.
