Over the years, WWE has given us innumerable epic moments. Moments that involved controversies, craziness, unforgettable feuds and era-defining segments that have gone onto the history books of wrestling entertainment.It was a total effort of superstars on-screen and the management behind the show that made all of these possible. And growing through different eras of the company, one has lost count of how many defining segments we have been treated too. And in those segments, The Stone Colds, The Rocks and The Undertakers among others have contributed massively into shaping up the industry and giving us moments too look back upon and rejoice for the rest of our lives.Without any further elaboration, we take a look at 15 of the greatest pictures that we managed to compile thus portraying the biggest moments in WWE history.

#15 Several John Cenas take over Wrestlemania 25

At Wrestlemania 25, John Cena redefined the word entrance after pulling out one of the most unique Wrestlemania entry in modern times. The Cenation leader sent out an army of shorts and caps who waved their hands signifying his famous “You can’t see me” catchphrase as Cena made his way into the ring.

It was certainly one of the defining moments specially living up to the 25th anniversary occasion of Wrestlemania.

#14 The greatest Underdog wins the World Heavyweight title

This was possibly the biggest story of an Underdog in WWE history. Beginning his journey from a Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Mysterio shocked and emerged as a common people’s hero when he won the Royal Rumble in 2006.

In a Triple threat match against Randy Orton and then-champion Kurt Angle, Mysterio pinned Orton to complete his fairytale story and became the new World Heavyweight champion.

#13 Undertaker 21-1

For every WWE fan, it was the shocking result in Wrestlemania history. Everything came by and went in the WWE, but one thing that was considered to be untouchable was the undefeated streak of The Undertaker. It was looked upon as a holy reign in all of sports entertainment.

But that immortal feat was brought down to earth as soon as Brock Lesnar pinned The Deadman 1-2-3 inside the squared circle. It symbolized the end of a momumental run for the Phenom and the giant screen read an impossible stat of 21-1 at Wrestlemania.

#12 The Montreal Screwjob

Some say, it was the beginning of the Attitude Era. Many believe it was the moment that turned Vince McMahon into the greatest heel ever.

Whichever side you are on, do remember that while creating this great moment, Bret Hart’s golden days were sacrificed as he was pushed aside from the limelight.

#11 Jeff Hardy\'s high-flying leap on Edge

Jeff Hardy has been a part of some of the high-flying risk-taking and most entertaining matches during his second stint in the Ruthless Aggression Era.

And his rivalry with Edge was one of the most engaging storylines of that time. This image just shows how far Jeff was ready to go to punish Edge as he performed a leap on the Rated R superstar who lay falt on the ladder.

#9 Shawn Michaels makes the greatest Wrestlemania entrace ever

It was deemed as the entrance in Wrestlemania history as Mr. Wrestlemania himself Shawn Michaels performed an incredible stunt by sliding his way itno into the arena from the top of the roof via a zip-line.

That entrance from the Showstopper at WM 12 has become one of the iconic WWE moments which will be stuck forever in the minds of wrestling fans.

#8 Mick Foley and Undertaker over the Cell

The two biggest names of the company locked horns in 1998 King of the Ring as The Undertaker and Mankind battled in a gruesome Hell in a Cell match. Well, for most of the match, it was on top of the cell which made it all the more innovative and awesome to watch.

Two breath-taking moments in this match cemented this feud as one of the greatest ever in the WWE history. And both of them involve Mankind being tossed from the top of the cell- once onto the announcers table, second into the ring.

#7 The Three greatest icons share the ring

The latest Wrestlemania produced an epic opening segment as guest host Hulk Hogan after a little bit of Silver and SuperDome errors, was interrupted by the glass breaking theme of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

But if that surprise entry wasn’t enough, out came the Great One into the arena as The Rock, Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan who are possibly the three most iconic figures in Wrestling history shared the ring in what was a defining Wrestlemania moment.

#6 Shane McMahon falls off TitanTron

It was surprising and very daring at the same time to see a potential owner of the WWE perform the most dangerous stunts, which even surpassed the actual WWE superstars.

And Shane McMahon was no pushover as he pulled off some of the most violent segments in the company’s history. But this fall from the Titantron at SummerSlam during a match against Steve Blackman was one of the most captivating moments that was ever shown on WWE TV.

#5 End of an Era - HBK, Triple H and Undertaker walk out together

After failing to avenge his friend Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 27, Triple H and Undertaker faced each other in a rematch at WM28 which was guest refereed by Taker’s fallen victim Michaels himself.

The result was no different as Triple H fell short of ending The Deadman’s Streak. But the moment that turned this match into a different emotional segment was when the trio helped each other to exit the arena. It symbolized the end of an era which truly belonged to the three greatest in ring performers in the history of this business.

#4 DX invades WCW Nitro

A wrestling fan holds the WWE vs WCW Monday Night wars very close to their hearts because that was the time when the wrestling industry flourished and gave its followers the best moments to cherish for a lifetime. Attitude Era was at its peak and DX, the ultimate faction of that time was born.

Established by Triple H and Shawn Michaels, the most controversial WWE group took these ratings war to a whole another level when they evaded WCW Nitro live on TV in a very controversial segment.

#3 Stone Cold\'s beer bath on The Corporation

A greatest WWE moment is never going to complete without the “Beer Bath” segment that Stone Cold Steve Austin performed on The Corporation.

It was March 22, 1999 and on Monday Night The Rattlesnake entered the arena with a beer truck and stood one top of it swearing to end then-WWE champion The Rock’s reign. Then came the ear defining segment when Austin unleashed a beer bath on Vince, Shane and The Rock leaving them soaked and miserable in front of the WWE fans.

A rare find where todays legends are sharing a light moment over a table of drinks. In this picture we have the late Paul Bearer, Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Razor Ramon and Stone Cold Steve Austin among others.

#1 Eddie and Chris - Best friends forever

A long time follower of Chris Benoit and the late great Eddie Guerrero who fought their way to the top of the ladder knows how invaluable this picture is. It was captured in Wrestlemania 20 when Eddie retained the WWE championship while his dear friend Chris Benoit became the World Heavyweight Champion.

Unfortunately, both these superstars left us too early with only great in-ring and backstage segments to look back and rejoice forever. Just like they, best friends cannot stay apart from each other, so they joined hands in heaven again.
