While Chris Jericho may not have been as steely a host on his podcast with John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin showed how well a podcast can be done on a live network. His two podcasts with Triple H and Vince McMahon consisted of some good questions that one at some point or the other, wanted answers to.Those two episodes showed a glimpse of what sort of businessmen these two guys are. Add to that Austin’s legacy of badassery and we have a hard hitting show which succinctly shows the wrestling business in the non-fictional sense of the word. Here are 5 Hall of Famers who’ll be great to do talk shows on the Network-

#5 Edge

Compared to all Hall of Famers and the ones who have a podcast, Edge is relatively young and that guarantees a young voice. Edge has been part of the most profitable era of the WWE during the Attitude Era and carried the company to new heights during the Ruthless Aggression and PG Era. he was the face of the Smackdown brand. He has adjusted his character according to the different demands of three different eras.

He is someone the hardcore fans respect and the casual fans absolutely adore.

Even he doesn’t embellish words while talking about the company.

It’ll be great to see him still connected to the world of wrestling in this way.

#4 Alundra Blayze

Okay, for many of her fans, she may be called Madusa but the fact is that she remains awesome regardless of her in- ring names.

For many, who didn’t know about her work or did not watch her wrestle, her Hall of Fame speech was quite a revelation. It was one of the best speeches ever, in Hall of Fame history. Her entire speech was garnished with names known and unknown but her spirit showcased what a fiercely great worker she was and still remains with her career in the monster truck arena.

Given her well known controversial past with the WWE and her remarkable presence, she can definitely make you sit and watch her talk.

#3 Lita

Lita was perhaps the first performer from the realm of the WWE to start a radio show. It was called Punkrockalypse. It had nothing to do with wrestling, it was a show for her fellow Punk Rock fans. Then she began Amy’s Discordia a few years later but she never really dabbled with having a wrestling related podcast. But regardless of that, she will definitely help things out for the WWE Network with her charming personality, history and popularity as a female performer in the hypermasculine world of the WWE.

It’ll be really interesting to see her talk about wrestling, since she doesn’t really do that on a regular basis.

It’ll be plenty more interesting to see her interact with past and present female and male performers.

#2 Mick Foley

He doesn’t have a podcast. Yet.

Mick Foley is a man with many hats. He’s dabbled in the world of writing books to stand up comedy to participating in chicken wing eating competitions to also playing Santa- Mick Foley has been outstanding.

He’s also quite an orator when it comes to speaking his mind about the business. And despite his long term association with the WWE, he’s still spoken out about the company on multiple occasions. yet, the company calls him to put over talent via promos. His promo hyping up the Hell In A Cell match between Rollins and Ambrose was nothing less than legendary.

If he does have a podcast, it’ll be quite a thing to behold.

#1 Jim Ross

Ross already dabbled with the world of podcasting with The Ross Report. It’ll be only apt to have the one voice that long term wrestling fans associate wrestling with, to come with his podcast to the WWE Network. With his knowledge of the business and his popularity and familiarity with the hardcore and casual fanbase, his credibility won’t come under the scanner.

Also, add to that his controversial past with the WWE where his rapport with Vince McMahon is well talked about, one has to believe that he won’t mince words or questions to cater to teh whims and fancies of the higher ups.
