That, right there, is business picking up!

One of the greatest things WWE has done with the WWE Network is to have Stone Cold bring his podcast to TV. All three of its episodes so far have been hugely informative and entertaining. It’s been quite stimulating. While the show had a tremendous first impression with its very first episode with the man who made the company into a juggernaut- Vince Mcmahon. We got a better look at Triple H’s mindset that led to some controversy. Stone Cold returned after a reported disagreement with the company. That episode with Paul Heyman was like a class in communication. It was great but immensely mellowed down and away from controversy. But it still came out looking great. Undertaker and Sting are already scheduled to be a part of the podcast. Here are the 5 guests who would be be great on Stone Cold podcast on WWE Network

#5 The Rock

That, right there, is business picking up!

Stone Cold is one superstar who’s had many great rivalries. One of them that defined the entire ‘Attitude Era’ was his rivalry with The Rock. These two superstars revolutionized the business. The Rock moved on to Hollywood and since then has made part- time appearances which have only gotten more substantial as time has passed.

But despite the Rock returning every now and then and churning out a promo, we havent yet seen him get engaged in some hardcore wrestling conversation, the nitty gritties of the business- that is something the Stone Cold podcast works really well with.

It’ll be great to see some uninhibited opinions about the industry from The Rock

#4 Mick Foley

The Attitude Era Flashback

Now this will be hugely a goldmine of sorts. You have two people in the same room who are unrestrained in their criticism about the company, in their fandom for wrestling and with their history from back in the Attitude Era, and we may just have a classic episode for our viewing.

Mick Foley is a great talker, so is Austin. These two are legends and it’ll be an important episode to see and listen what they’ve got to discuss about their time in the company, their rapport with each other and the current crop in the WWE.

It’ll be great to hear Foley talk about the current crop of superstars and divas, since he’s so encouraging in his compliments.

#3 Bret Hart

Legend Alert!

Another great rivalry that was part of Stone Cold’s journey towards greatness. Hart was already a marquee guy when Stone Cold feuded with him as a heel. Hart notes in his autobiography that he instantly recognized the charisma this guy possesed and how the look in his eyes combined with his bald head made him a natural heel.

Their match at Wrestlemania was the most memorable, defining match from the year and it’s the first match that made Stone Cold a badass. He refused to tap out inspite of bleeding profusely. The double turn made this match so great, given how beautifully they told a story.

Two veterans talking about the business is any day time well spent

#2 Shawn Michaels

Before passing the baton

Stone Cold has been in good terms with HBK and Bret Hart, both of whom who were sworn enemies in the 90s. Both of them have been monumental in Austin’s career. It’ll be interesting to see Michaels talk about his controversial past and the greatness that was his career, about his intial days to his early retirement, him returning and then retirning permanently in 2010.

And they’re both from Texas!

The man looks like he can still wrestle a great match, whether he wants to return and who he want to face.

Basically, it would be interesting if more of his controversial days were addressed.

#1 Jake \'The Snake\' Roberts

Jake and the Snake

There was something poignant and nostalgic about Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts Hall of Fame speech two years ago. Firstly, it was beautiful. It was quite mesmerizing to experience it. He was brutally honest about his downfall, about his shortcomings. But what was also a great moment was to see that when he concluded his speech, the audience gave him a standing ovation and Austin, who was sitting in the front row, raised his fist and gave a solemn show of respect to his former colleague.

The Austin 3:16 moment couldn’t have happened if Roberts wasn’t having a very Christian-like gimmick.

This episode, if it ever happens, will be interesting.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
