Undertaker is a dead man, Brock Lesnar is a monster, Bray Wyatt is creepy but once all these WWE superstars keep their character away, they are some of the most talented pranksters.WWE might not have a whole lot of luck when it comes to their on screen comedy storylines but that isn’t the case with the pranks that the WWE superstars pull off backstage. Amidst all those chaotic schedules that they go through during their career, the amount of fun these superstars have with their colleagues is like a rain in the desert.A plethora of road stories are making rounds in the internet and most of them are sure to cause laughter or two on any day. So here is a look at some of the funniest and best backstage pranks in the WWE history.

#10 Big show in a sandwich trap

Remember that Road Runner show where the wild Coyote sets up a variety of traps to catch the roadrunner? Well, the ones who remember could connect to this story better.

Back when Dolph Ziggler was part of the spirit squad, they had the idea of setting up a trap where a six-inch Subway sandwich would be placed in the centre of a loop made from microphone chord. The guys set up the trap well in the centre of the ring and poor Big show came by and took the sandwich without knowing what was going around.

The microphone chord soon caught Show’s ankle while the Spirit Squad was laughing about catching a big one. That laugh, however, didn’t last long as in the next match they had, Big Show chopped the hell out of each member.

#9 Never let someone else inject your ass cheek

Having an interesting in taking steroids is a bad thing but not knowing how to inject them can be worse. Davey Boy Smith found this the hard way.

He wanted to try out steroids at some point of his career and asked his tag team partner Dynamite Kid to inject on his ass cheeks every now and then since Smith didn’t know how to do it. Dynamite Kid had couldn't protest against the request and did what was asked for a few months.

However, there was a big twist in all these. Instead of steroids, the Dynamite Kid used to inject milk into the ass cheeks. So when Smith found it out, he started taking the injections himself.

#8 Warriors best friend under the ring

How would it be like to spend three hours under a wrestling ring with foul smelling crap? Ultimate Warrior knew the experience. When making a surprise entrance the wrestler often hide under the ring until the moment arrives. Ultimate Warrior was supposed to pull off a similar act.

The rest of the roster wasn’t that fond of Warrior during those days and decided to pull a prank on him. Curt Hennig put a bucket full of poop under the ring where Warrior was supposed to spend nearly three hours.

Warrior couldn’t escape from the situation since it was an ongoing show and he had to wait there with the horrible smell until he was called up for the big moment.

#7 Yokozunas flight bathroom

Flight bathrooms could be a nightmare for all the claustrophobic people out there. They are often small and for a person like Yokozuna, small would be an inappropriate adjective. And Curt Hennig, knowing this decided to prank the Samoan superstar.

Hennig gave a chocolate that was laced with Lax to Yokozuna during their flight and the big guy had to take a big dump right there. However, as mentioned earlier, the flight bathroom was not big enough to fit him in.

They did manage to solve the problem when a stewardess allowed Yokozuna to relieve his bowels on the back of the plane and even helped him by holding a blanket to make sure that no one saw while he was working.

#6 Coachman gets arrested

When Jonathan Coachman was making his baby steps in the business, the likes of Rock, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Jerry Brisco and above all, Vince McMahon decided to pull a big prank on Coachman.

Jerry first asked Coachman to start a football pool for $10 per wrestler and since he was a newbie, Coach had no objections. However, days later police showed up and arrested Coach for running a gambling scam.

Coach went and begged to Vince McMahon to get bail but Vince showed his aggressive side and fired at the announcer while Rock, Triple H and Stephanie were there in the room. The police then carried him one mile away from the arena only to return and reveal that all of this was a prank that came from Vince’s head.

#5 The gift in the cup

When Sable was going to leave WWE after her last show in Wembley, X-Pac decided to give her a goodbye present. The gift was given in a cup and proved to be one of the most memorable gifts for Sable.

X – Pac once revealed that no one backstage liked Sable as she boasted about the ratings being high because of her. So he decided to put the cup inside Sable’s luggage before she went out and the diva would later find out the gift once she reached her home.

And wondering what the gift is? It’s just poop. That’s right a whole cup full of poop was the gift that X-Pac gave to Sable. She didn’t know who gave it and even wanted to have a DNA test on it to know who the owner was.

#4 Owen Hart getting tased

Take down this note if you are going to meet Harley Race in the future: never feed him any chilli sauce.

Owen decided to fill some hot chilli sauce into a bottle and laughed at the reaction of everyone who tasted it. Owen might be known for being one of the most notorious pranksters in WWE history, but he was on the receiving side when Harley Race decided to get some revenge for the sauce incident.

Once Harley called Owen over and asked him to shake hands for the prank that he earlier pulled off, but the twist was that Harley had a Taser in his hand which immediately tased Owen and knocked him unconscious.

#3 Edge sells for a napkin

Its stories like this that remind us about how good Owen Hart was as a person, Even though he was a big prankster, everyone in the backstage loved him.

Owen teamed up with Jeff Jarrett one night and faced off against Edge and Christian. Owen hid a foreign object under his armpit and took it out every now and then to hit Edge. The Rated R superstar didn’t know what the object was and sold every hit that came his way.

As the match progressed, the referee demanded Owen to show what was under his armpit and when he revealed the secret, Edge was embarrassed for life. It was a mere napkin and Edge was selling as though he was hit by a steel chair.

#2 Secret ingredient in Mark Henrys sandwich

The secret ingredient in SpongeBob’s Krabby Patty might be a mystery to many but the secret ingredient in Henry’s sandwich was only a mystery for him.

Henry wasn’t really a likeable guy during his early days and the people in backstage decided to pull a prank on him while his leg was fractured. They started stealing his crutches which made Henry explode in anger. But the worst part was yet to come.

Seeing Henry’s anger, X – Pac decided to poop in the big guy’s sandwich while he was away. And Henry, without knowing this, ate the sandwich. Imagine that. He ran to the bathroom to vomit and was again pranked by Owen Hart just minutes when he told that Vince McMahon was looking for Henry when Vince was not even there in the first place.

Undertaker might be one of the scariest superstars in the WWE but ever wondered what scares the Undertaker? That could be a million dollar question on any day but the answer is not that pretty. Undertaker is scared of cucumbers.

Taker apparently doesn’t like how they look, feel or taste and knowing this, Paul Bearer decided to pull a prank on the Phenom.

The legendary manager once filled Taker’s hat with cucumbers and when Taker found it out, he almost vomited at the place. This probably breaks down the entire image that Taker has built up all these years but on a larger picture this shows how simple the life of a wrestler could be.
