3 Possible endings for Divas tag team match at Wrestlemania

One has to think if there was no #GiveDivasAChance trend, then what would have happened. Actually, if it hadn’t trended worldwide for two days or if AJ Lee’s hadn’t made those tweets as a reply to Stephanie McMahon, it’s doubtful if the female performers on the main roster would have been given the opportunities to showcase their talent or have the Creative team invest some time and logic into their storyline. This past Monday, one of the best moments belonged to the Divas as the match between Paige and Nikki Bella turned out to be immensely memorable. Paige and AJ, as expected aren’t on the same terms as The Bellas. The frenemies tag won’t go away any time soon. Here are the three possible endings for their Wrestlemania clash.

#1 A Brie Bella Turn

This will be the best moment for the Bellas since the Nikki Bella heel turn at Summerslam. Brie Bella turning against her sister may just be as spectacular as it will happen at Wrestlemania. This gives rise to many opportunities- A probable fatal four-way match for the championship title and a hopefully less ridiculous feud between the Bellas. Also, AJ and Paige winning will only help their momentum.

This is also logical since Brie Bella forgiving Nikki for all the humiliations just because she’s her sister is killing a story angle.

#2 The Heel Streak Continues

This will be a travesty but what if WWE books the Bellas to actually score a win against this team of accomplished individuals like Lee and Paige? This will continue their momentum beyond Wrestlemania. This will be the worst sort of momentum killer for both AJ and Paige.

The only opportunity that seems to be a savior is if a couple of NXT women make their debut and place a challenge to the Bellas.

That’s a long shot but it may still happen. Or not.

#3 Negotiations

The rapport between AJ and Paige has been made clear on a quite a few occasions. They are individuals first and teammates later. Both of them take each other seriously and hence respect each other. They can be the best of friends or the worst of enemies.

The Bellas are sisters and, of course, familial bonds are harder to break. AJ and Paige may negotiate to work together for just one night and not let the Bellas get to them.

They can settle with the fact that they won’t be a team after this, but they will reunite to just beat the Bellas at their own game by simply winning the match.
