LanaThe Ruthless Aggression Era began in 2002 and lasted till 2007. It may be best remembered to be kicked off when Kurt Angle called out someone who could show him some ruthless aggression. Out came John Cena and the rest is history. This was also a period where the Divas division had its peak success with the greatest feud the division has ever seen between Lita and Trish Stratus. Additionally, it featured women like Victoria, Molly Holly, Melina, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Candice Michelle, Torrie Wilson, Stacy Kiebler, Sable returned for a while, Stephanie McMahon as a babyface and then later on a heel, Gail Kim, Michelle McCool, well you get the gist of it.Here are 5 Divas who weren’t part of the era but would have been great in the Ruthless Aggression Era

#1 Renee Young

“The Maury Povich of the WWE”

Renee Young isn’t a wrestler. She’s got such a friendly vibe to her that it may be hard for many of you to even imagine her working in the Ruthless Aggression Era. But it would have been interesting to see how the WWE would have used her in that era.

Given that backstage interviewers were usually made fun of, it would be interesting to have someone like Renee who seems smart and informative about the industry she works in. It would also have been interesting to have her on commentary.

Young is definitely someone whose presence and awareness would have given interviews back then a lot more importance.

#2 Madusa

Setting the stage A Blayze.

Alundra Blayze/Madusa proved during the Hall of Fame ceremony why we should miss her terribly. Her speech was classic. It made me at least go back and observe her matches in detail. She was incredible on the mic and terrific in the ring. She had that killer combination.

She could definitely hang around the women from a different era. The question rather is whether the women from that era could possibly hang around her.

Her incredible presence combined with her impressive skills would have been great to witness in the 21st century.

#3 Charlotte

Charlotte- Bow down to the queen

Charlotte is The Nature Girl, daughter of the Nature Boy Ric Flair. She believes she’s genetically superior and this idea would have worked perfectly well if she was to make her debut 10 years ago. Her screen presence combined with her aggression, wrestling skills and the flamboyance of her father would have led to some great interaction was she a part of that bygone period in WWE history.

Her matches or interaction with Lita, Trish, Phoenix would have been something that one could imagine as a dream sequence.

Their matches would have been something to behold as well.

#4 Lana

CRUSH!

Just like Paige, Lana has an incredible screen presence. She would have been an intimidating manager in any era. She’s got the kind of appeal Sable and Sunny did and the kind of heat that they could accumulate. She’s different because she knows quite well how to act. Her accent, her presence and her control over the crowd would have made her a success even in the Attitude Era.

WWE is doing a terrible job of having her get involved in such a mess of a storyline.

Rusev and Lana were a great team back when it all started. Lana has tremendous managerial skills which would have worked well in the Ruthless aggression era.

#5 Paige

Paige Vs Lita or Trish is a dream match

Did you honestly expect her not to be in this list?

Paige would have been a perfect fit in the Ruthless Aggression Era,so much so that it would be something to think about how it would have been if she had faced the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita.

Paige, since her debut, has brought in the aggression that the vurrent main roster divas division lacked for many years. Her all black attire, the scream, the stiff kicks and incredible screen presence would have anyway made her stand out in any era.

Lita and Paige are at least on the same show- Tough Enough.
