5 times little guys spectacularly beat big guys clean

The Heart Break KidIt’s not every week that you see someone who’s not of WWE’s desireable build, win matches and major championship titles. It hasn’t been a norm but there have been numerous instances where men who’re shorter than 6 feet have defeated men who clearly give weight to the ‘larger than life’ phrase, ideally performers who are 6 feet 8 or taller.A little guy beating a bigger guy may not be the most believable outcome ever, but it has happened and it sure looks glorious sometimes. Here are the 5 spectacular times little guys beat bigger guys:

#5 Dolph Ziggler Vs Kane

Dolph Ziggler is a tremendous worker and one of the most over superstars in the WWE. But for someone with that much of a reputation, he’s only had a few clean victories. He’s been the guy to sell na dtake a pinfall rather than get a clean cut pinfall.

Kane stands at 2.13 meters tall which means he’s more than 6’8”. Ziggler is a little less than 6 feet.

But once upon a time in November of last year, Ziggler faced off against Corporate Kane in a Steel Cage match on Smackdown. By the end of that match he was hanging off the door, seemingly lifeless, only to trick Kane and slam the door against his head. Ziggler hit the ground and won clean.

#4 Daniel Bryan Vs Kane

Kane is a big guy with a bigger heart. He’s put over a lot of talent over the years. He doesn’t seem like the Big Red Monster that he used to be.

Daniel Bryan, the biggest underdog of the past 2 years, stands tall at 5 feet 8 inches.

Daniel Bryan spectacularly made an announcement on the final Raw of 2014 that he’d return to in- ring action and be an entrant at the Royal Rumble.

The Authority laid many a roadblock. One of them was facing Kane on Smackdown to seal his place at the Rumble.

Bryan faced Kane in his first match since May 2014 and won in style.

#3 Rey Mysterio Vs JBL

Mysterio is one of the most celebrated little guys WWE’s ever had. He stands at 5 feet 6 inches. JBL,on the other hand is a whole foot taller than Mysterio.

Mysterio’s won so many championships and he’s beaten so many big guys over the years. What makes this match at Judgement Day 2006 between Mysterio and JBL special is the fact that JBL quit Smackdown after this match. That was the stipulation. Mysterio remained the World Heavyweight Champion.

But this was actually done to give JBL a break to nurse his back injury.

#2 Chris Benoit Vs Kane and Big Show

Kane’s back.

2004 was a monumental year in Chris Benoit’s career. He won his first World Heavyweight Championship by making Triple H tap out in the main event of Wrestlemania XX. This was the first in the events history that the main event was won by submission. Benoit later won the tag titles and became a double champion. He feuded with Kane for the World title during that time and obviously won.

But it should also be noted what led Benoit to all of this. He reached Wrestlemania by winning the Royal Rumble. And who did he eliminate last?

- The Big Show.

#1 Shawn Michaels Vs Sid Vicious

Shawn Michaels is another guy who’s been a trailblazer when it comes to superstardom and the protocol WWE build. Michaels defied all of that and still made it.

Shawn Michaels is a little less than 6 feet tall. And he’s the one and only one Mr. Wrestlemania. The Showstopper has a starry list of bodyguards. One of who was Sycho Sid. Sid attacked Michaels one fine night and turned him babyface but before that HBK took a break from the WWE for a while. He returned and later on became the WWE Champion only to lose it to Sycho Sid.

He regained that title back in a match at the 1997 Royal Rumble, defeating the 6’7” tall Sid.
