WWE Night of Champions 2014: 3 possible endings for AJ Lee vs Paige vs Nikki Bella

The Divas division took a drastic twist this week when the WWE creative team decided to combine the top two angles that they ran at SummerSlam.On one side there was the Divas Championship see-sawing between AJ Lee and Paige. It was a feud filled with some good performances and in ring action that made it easy for the fans to be clued in. On the other side were the Bella twins who sparked yet another sibling rivalry in the WWE.The problem with the latter angle was the limitations that both Brie and Nikki had. If Stephanie wasn’t there to cover for those, it would have been a storyline that would have been doomed even before it started.WWE saw this big feud and decided to combine the two angles giving birth to an intriguing triple threat match at Night of Champions for the Divas title. So here is a look at how the match could end up once the final bell rings.

#3 Utter chaos

We have four of the most decorated divas in the division and a certain Stephanie McMahon entangled in a single angle for the pay-per-view. What this means is the possibility that the meaning of the word chaos will be redefined.

The match at Night of Champions might not be all about determining a new champion but could instead be the catalyst for a brighter future.

Nikki and Brie need to lock horns at some point or the other, making it necessary to involve Brie in the match. Meanwhile a possible feud between AJ Lee and Paige is too hot to turn down. With Charlotte coming into the main roster, Paige will also be engaged.

If WWE ends the match in a no contest and lets Paige take away the title, all the feuds could be materialized with ease.

#2 Brie gifting Paige or AJ the title

Paige is the underdog in the situation even if she doesn’t deserve to be one. The Brit was having enough problems with AJ and the addition of Nikki to the mix has lowered her chances of retaining the title significantly.

However, one thing that is in her favor is Brie Bella. After everything that Nikki has done against her sister, Bryan’s wife wouldn’t be letting her sister take the win home easily. Brie’s interference in the match at one point or the other is almost sure to happen and when she does do it, this is going to work in favor of both AJ Lee and Paige.

Nikki will be taken out of the situation while it will be the SummerSlam scenario once again when the crazy ones get to fight it out to determine who wants it more to have the title around their waist.

#1 The Unthinkable

One of the easiest routes that WWE can take during such a situation is simply let Nikki Bella win the Divas Championship to back up her words which conveyed that she was the better Bella.

AJ and Paige are known for their crazy heroics while it wouldn’t be hard for Nikki to exploit that friction and end up winning the title. There is some heavy backing for Nikki from Stephanie’s side which once again swings the pendulum in her favour. Considering that it was Brie who was responsible for Nikki’s last title run ending, this ending would further add more layers to the storyline.

However, this wouldn’t be the wisest move by the writers. Paige and AJ are two divas who deserve to be in the title scene while Nikki would be making a mess with the gold around her waist.
