WWE Payback: 3 possible endings for Alicia Fox vs Paige

The Divas championship finally seems to have gained some mainstream attention in recent times. Current champion Paige, who surprisingly won the title a month ago on RAW has done pretty well to establish herself as a competetive in ring talent. It is however the other divas in the locker room who lack the flare. Week after week, a new challenger to the title is revealed and this time it is Ms Alicia Fox.Let us look at how this match might conclude at Payback.

#1 Paige Wins

This is one result that is easier to predict than being able to predict the next contender for the Divas title. Paige will win the match hands down and continue her impressive run as the champion. The reasons for this are plenty. There are rumours making rounds that former champion AJ Lee is soon to make a return and the WWE will look to keep Paige as the champion till then to make things a lot more interesting.

Besides this, no other Diva has the charisma to pull off being the champion like Paige does (period) and this adds pressure on the WWE to keep her booked as the champion until they find a suitable candidate.

#2 Alicia Fox wins

Even though this seems like the last option the WWE resort to, giving Alicia Fox a run with the title could still be a possiblity. She is a former Womens champion and this fact might come in handy when they take a decision regarding the outcome of the match.

She has revealed her rowdy side as of late as she attacked a lot of WWE personnel on Smackdown and clearly looked to be delivering a message to champion Paige. Having a heel champion has done a lot of good to the WWE over the years and they may just entrust Fox with another run.

#3 AJ Lee returns

Call me an opportunist, but this move could make the whole PPV a lot more interesting. AJ Lee returning and distracting champion Paige to give her opponent the win would escalate things to a whole new level. Paige did the unthinkable by beating record holding former champion AJ and the latter would look to return the favour at Payback.

AJ returning would not only spice up the Divas division, but it would also create an expectation amongst the fans for a CM Punk return later that night. Wheather he returns or not is a story for another day, but that would keep fans worldwide glued to the television and that is exactly what the WWE would want.
