WWE Raw 26th May 2014- 5 Promising Developments

So the go home show for Payback happened and in that WWE began putting the final touches to the build up of eacha nd every feud. While all the matches featured at Payback had a decent build up, there were other little moments that stood out. Here are the five promising developments for the near future.

#1 Raw Is Alicia Fox

For the third straight week Alicia Fox took all the attention from Paige and bought some strong reactions from the crowd that the divas usually don’t get. She’s losing her mind and she does it better than AJ Lee but is this a precursor of AJ Lee’s probable return to the ring? Is WWE indicating that the Original madness of teh Divas Division is on her way back? Or are they merely filling up her void? Anyway, Alicia Fox has singlehandedly built up her feud with Paige. And a future feud between Alicia Fox and AJ Lee can be interesting.

#2 Squash no more

Finally, after an array of squash matches, Rusev was greeted with an equal in stature in the WWE. Big E and Rusev are two powerhouses and both of them seem quite agile and quick for their build. It sure looks like an interesting and promising prospect. The promo work might not be as interesting as the matches, though. But seeing that both of them are without anything substantial creatively, this match up is a boost

#3 Bo The Boliever

Dallas is back on Raw, now as a heel. While his brother gathers Followers, Dallas is here to make some Bolievers. He actually preaches the wordly goods of the magical words called “Never Give Up”. Just like John Cena but in a different manner. Actually Bo Dallas having a feud with John cena will be awesome. A delusional kid going against the hero of kids. Cena might look at him the way th hardcore fans look at Cena. That’s going to be quite a reflection.

#4 The Cliffhanger at Payback

Daniel Bryan is adamant that he wont forfeit the titles and then Stephanie Mcmahon, his biggest nemesis, shows off her Authority- If Daniel Bryan does not forfeit the titles Brie Bella will be fired. This makes Payback seem like the culmination of all this will they/ wont they tension.

#5 The mid card Titles

And so it seems that Bad News Barrett and Sheamus are champions to be taken seriously. They are defending their titles at a Pay Per View. RVD is in dire need of a consistent feud and Sheamus is in dire need of it as well. Both Barrett and Cesaro have merged well into their gimmicks. Barrett and Cesaro are the real winners in this situation, gimmick and momentum wise.
