WWE Royal Rumble 2015: Possible final four of the Royal Rumble match

A majority of the WWE fans might say that Royal Rumble is all about that one wrestler who gets his ticket booked for the WrestleMania main event. But the truth is: Rumble is never a one man show.In fact, it is the sheer number of participants that makes the Rumble so special. There is obviously going to be a lot of buzz about who comes in first or who comes in last in the match, but what the fans would really care about is the final four.Over the past years, the last four contestants of the Rumble has gone on to tell more stories than everyone else involved in the match and the tradition looks set to continue this year as well. So here is a look at the possible superstars who could end up in the final four of this year’s Royal Rumble.

#4 Roman Reigns

Let’s start off with the obvious one here. WWE’s backing of Reigns to get the job done at the pay-per-view is no secret. He has been tagged as the successor of John Cena for some time now and many believe that winning the Rumble would be the first step.

There are rumors of Reigns possibly being replaced as the potential winner but even if that is the case, he is sure to be a member of the final four.

At last year’s Rumble, Reigns ended up breaking the record for most number of eliminations and there is a big chance of him replicating that feat once again this year. Even if he doesn’t, Reigns will definetly reach the magical figure unless WWE decides to screw him at some point.

#3 Dolph Ziggler

Hard work and dedication never goes unnoticed. Cesaro might not agree with that statement but Dolph Ziggler would definetly do. He has been busting his rear out for the past few years and the company is finally rewarding him with a good push.

The show off impressed everyone at Survivor Series being the sole survivor while he and Luke Harper stole the show at TLC as well. Rumble is next in line and it would be a surprise if we don’t see Ziggler in the final four.

Discussions about Ziggler being the potential winner are also out there in the WWE Universe and if that happens, we will be blessed with a sure shot successful match between Brock Lesnar and Ziggler.

#2 Randy Orton

The Viper was taken out of action before Survivor Series due to film commitments and is yet to make a big return into the weekly programing. He did appear in a live show recently but WWE later decided to pull him off the remaining schedule for some reason.

Orton being a surprise entrant at this year’s WrestleMania is the only logical explanation for this pull off since otherwise, he would’ve already been back after TLC.

Seth Rollins is the best possible opponent that Orton has once he returns but it wouldn’t be a good thing to invest the duo in a three PPV feud to WrestleMania. Rather than that, the company needs to let Orton and Rollins start their feud at Rumble with the final showdown at Mania.

For that, Orton needs a good enough position at jeopardy and the final four in Rumble serves the purpose ideally.

#1 Dean Ambrose

WWE might not have any idea on what they should do next with Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt. Their feud had all the ammunition to blow the roof off but somehow Vince McMahon managed to screw things up big time.

There would be no point in continuing this angle all the way to Rumble for another match so letting Ambrose participate in the Battle Royal is probably the best option that WWE writers have.

And if Ambrose enters, he is surely going to look strong. The Lunatic Fringe gets a guaranteed final four spot if he is in the match. The mouthwatering prospect of Ambrose winning the match and facing Lesnar at Mania is also worth looking forward to.
