WWE TLC 2015: 5 Things that should happen at the pay-per-view

The Boss needs to be involved in the title picture

Survivor Series was just the beginningConfetti showering from the skies, a fallen warrior, a successful master plan, and a jubilant heel capped off WWE’s last pay-per-view venture – Survivor Series. From the reaction of the fans, it was clearly not what they envisioned or wanted in the first place, but from a storyline point of view, Survivor Series helped WWE big time. Fans started rallying behind Reigns and it was exactly what the creative team has asked for the past two years. But, the job is only half done. The story of Reigns and all the wrestlers who make up the WWE roster is set to continue at TLC. WWE is under pressure to deliver the goods amidst vast criticism, and we take a look at some of the things that could help them do so.

#5 Making it a four way battle

The Boss needs to be involved in the title picture

Charlotte showed shades of a heel turn this week on Monday Night Raw when she used a cheap trick to get a win over Becky Lynch.

Her intentions to keep the title by her side are understandable, but what she did has opened up the possibility of a three-way battle for the championship. Paige and Becky now hold equal claims at the Divas Titles.

But the problem is that there is another talented diva in the roster that needs to get a shot – Sasha Banks. Sasha has been wasted on the main roster thus far and WWE should think about including her into the title feud at TLC.

They could draw the battle lines at TLC and make the storyline run all the way up to WrestleMania – where these talented women could have a fatal four-way for the coveted title.

#4 New Day dropping the Tag titles

Dropping the title will not hurt New Day

This might sound ridiculous at first, but the fact is – New Day does not need the championship right now.

Two months back, they needed it desperately to stay relevant, but now, New Day is hands down the most entertaining thing about WWE television. Lucha Dragons and The Usos, on the other hand, have a different story.

They are randomly booked most of the time and having the title around their waist would turn things around. As for New Day, they could be part of the League of Nations full time, or they could do the dirty work of the Authority now that they have some good amount of heat.

#3 Wyatt Family destroying Dudley Boyz

The Wyatts are in desperate need of some momentum

The feud between the Wyatt Family and Brothers of Destruction was supposed to be a boost for the former.

What happened instead, was the entire limelight falling on Undertaker and his 25th year anniversary. To top that off, the Wyatt Family suffered a forgettable defeat to say the least. In short, apart from the experience of grappling with the Undertaker, the faction got nothing from the storyline.

Their momentum is at an all-time high and WWE should think about building up the Wyatts once again. The best opportunity for the same will come at TLC. The Wyatt Family is likely to go up against the Dudley boys and if they can come out with a dominating win against the veterans, it would be the much-needed boost they need post-Survivor Series.

#2 Roman Reigns should lose

It is just the start of the journey to an inevitable collision

As mentioned in the first slide, Roman Reigns got a big boost after the screwjob at Survivor Series.

Sheamus as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion was not something that the fans digested and they now see Roman as someone who could end this run. In fact, Roman is now their only hope in dethroning Sheamus as all the other babyfaces in the company have taken a back seat.

However, WWE should milk the situation. They shouldn’t let Roman win back the title that easily. He will get his chance at TLC, but instead of letting him walk away with the title, WWE could overbook the match and screw Roman again.

It would only make him stronger and WWE can then crown him the champion at a bigger pay-per-view.

#1 The League of Nations grows Stronger

A faction with immense potential

WWE coming up with the League of Nations stable was a great move.

By having a stable of non-Americans back, Sheamus is more effective instead of the Authority's backing and it also takes away the ‘repetition’ criticism that WWE had been garnering since Survivor Series.

Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, and King Barrett are heels that we find easy to hate, but as a unit, they need to show their strength.

In the previous slide, we mentioned about Reigns losing and if his loss comes thanks to the League of Nations, it would make a compelling angle. This stacks the odds against Reigns and sets the stage for another great underdog story heading into WrestleMania season.
