If he had stuck with wrestling only, he wouldn’t have been the star he is today. Flair, being a genius, went out and did things that the fans enjoyed and this includes a plethora of funny moments as well. This list takes a look at some of the best laughs that Ric Flair contributed to the wrestling business.

#5 TNA going Charlie Chaplin style

Remember all those Charlie Chaplin moments from yore? The films which had some good old situation comedy in black and white? TNA tried to use such situational comedy in their show and ended up with this. During his TNA run, Ric Flair had a brief run being on the wheelchair. He was mainly feuding with Hulk Hogan and Abyss. During a match, Abyss managed to make a hole in the middle of the ring.

What followed was utter chaos. Everyone was dropping into it and though it seems like stupidity, once you add all those Charlie Chaplin edits like this guy did on YouTube, this video is worth spending your time one. Thankfully for us, we might not get to see stuff like this in WWE.

#4 New Generation is tough

Ric Flair hasn’t been involved in many memorable WWE moments after his TNA spell. This one, however, was different. Flair was ringside during a match at the Old school edition of Raw and he had Big E and AJ Lee for his company. Tired of Big E's antics at ringside, Flair decided to take the youngster out.

What followed was simply funny. Flair tried blinding Big E with his suit and then later delivered his trademark chops. Unfortunately for Flair, Big E had no intentions of selling. He just stood there taking all those chops and did not move a whisker. Big E showed that the new generation is tough enough and poor Flair learned it the hard way.

#3 Don\'t be kicking my ass now

Ric Flair embarrassed himself many times during his TNA stay. However, he had some standout moments as well. One among that was the promo he had along with Sting. The microphone work was absolutely gold from the Nature boy but what stood out most was the amount of humor he incorporated into it.

Flair wouldn’t allow Sting to say a word. He just went on and on about how he wanted to face the Stinger. The best part of the promo came when Sting took off his coat. Flair went all defensive and asked Sting not to kick his ass. Someone who bravely challenged for a match getting scared was fun to watch. Skip to the sixth minute to see Flair’s promo.

#2 Flair interrupts the wrong guy

Back when the Evolution was in full swing, Randy Orton faced off with Goldberg. Triple H and Ric Flair was on commentary and at one point of the match, the referee was knocked out. Steve Austin, who was ringside as the special enforcer came into the mix and filled in. The match continued and just when Goldberg was going to secure a win, Flair interfered.

Flair dragged Austin out of the ring and started assaulting Goldberg. The nature boy was dancing around in his trademark style but was soon put back into place by Austin. Flair’s interference was the most entertaining part of the match which otherwise was boring.

#1 Flair handcuffs himself into the ring

We’ve seen funny moments from TNA and WWE and it would only be fitting to include one from WCW. Ric Flair came down into the ring and started off an interview with Gene Okerlund. Initially, it looked like an emotional farewell from Ric, but as time went by, the intensity increased. But above all, Ric was practically stripping on national television.

He threw away his expensive dress and handcuffed himself into the ring ropes and called out Eric Bischoff into the ring. It was one of the best promos in Flair's career and at the same time, it was funny. And since WCW was in war with WWE, they allowed Flair to cross all limits.
