RIP Streak

The legend of The Streak began way back at WrestleMania 7 with Jimmy Snuka becoming the first victim it remained intact till WrestleMania 29. HBK, Triple H, Edge, Randy Orton and a host of legends tried but wilted under the Deadman's wrath.

Paul Heyman on behalf of his client Brock Lesner challenged The Undertaker to defend his Streak. Everyone expected a brutal match but nobody expected its result. Tombstones, F5s, Suplexes, Chokeslams were traded prolifically. Finally the Streak surrendered to one of the F5s of Brock Lesner. There was absolute silence in the Superdome and rightly so to mark the moment the Streak was made to rest in peace.

Bret Hart was at the pinnacle of the WWE with the biggest belt in hand. Michaels was coming off various setbacks like dropping the Intercontinental Champiosnhip and a real-life beating at the hands of some marines in a bar.

WrestleMania 12 provided the perfect platform to decide who among the two was the ‘real man’. Both wrestlers provided the one of the best matches to have ever taken place in a WrestleMania. It is regarded as one of the finest technical matches as the two displayed amazing technique. HBK lifting the belt high in the night sky is an eternal memory.

It was a Hell in a Cell match. The Undertaker’s back yard where bad things happen, careers end; the most demonic structure in wrestling history witnessed an incredible match. The Phenom challenged the Game with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee.

What happened after that is history. The brutality of that match is incomparable. Every inch of the ring was used to cause immense pain to each other. Chairs, sledgehammers, commentary tables - all were destroyed.

Both fought till the last atom in their bodies screamed. Undertaker emerged victorious but Triple H earned great respect. The epic moment was when Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels walked out together.

#1 The Streak vs The Career

Streak vs Career

One of the biggest matches to have ever taken place in WWE was between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26, where two absolute legends faced each other in one of the most enthralling battles in wrestling history.

The Undertaker accepted the challenge but on one condition, the career of HBK was to be put on the line. What happened in that match at WrestleMania is beyond imagination. Tombstones and Sweet Chin Music were doled out in abundance.

The match will always be remembered for marking the end of the career of Mr. WrestleMania but not before he gave his fans and the WWE Universe moments to relish.
