The NFL regular season is rapidly approaching its end with a handful of weeks left and we have some of the top quarterbacks leading the way in terms of the 2023 NFL MVP race. Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Tua Tagovailoa, and Josh Allen have the top-four odds to win the award. Let’s zoom into each one and figure out who we should bet on to win the award by the end of the regular season.

2023 NFL MVP Odds:

Patrick Mahomes-180
Tua Tagovailoa+450
Jalen Hurts+700
Josh Allen+1000

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs, NFL (-180)

This is Patrick Mahomes' award to lose at this point. He is leading in passing yards (3,265) and passing touchdowns (28) as well as being second in QBR (77.3) this season. His team are the number one seed in a loaded AFC which will enable him to continue putting up numbers, allowing the Chiefs to coast into the playoffs and possibly add another piece of silverware to the trophy mantle.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins, NFL (+450)

Remember when the story going into the season was Tua's inability to be accurate and underthrow everyone? Well, adding Tyreek Hill to join Jaylen Waddle definitely helped. He leads the NFL with an 82.7 QBR and has an 18:3 touchdown-to-interception ratio this year. He has been deadly accurate completing 71 percent of his passes, but it's going to be tough to eclipse the mighty Mahomes.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles, NFL (+700)

Now that the undefeated season is out the window, Jalen Hurts has fallen back in the pack for the NFL MVP award. He has been a force throwing the football and also runs extremely well. He is almost a running back who can throw the ball well with eight rushing touchdowns and does not turn the ball over. Things really have to fall really align for him to win the award, but stranger things have happened in football!

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, NFL (+1200)

Right now, the Buffalo Bills technically are a Wild Card team as they are 8-3 and are certain to lose the tiebreaker to the Miami Dolphins. Josh Allen has solid stats to showcase potential MVP credentials. He is second in the NFL with 3,183 passing yards, second with 23 passing touchdowns, and third with a 73.6 QBR. He is also a talented runner and accounts for most of the Bills offense, but his rivals for the award are revving up the engine game in and game out.
