1)Australia stumble to 231/8 at stumps on the 1st day of Delhi Test

Australia collapsed again after a good start on day 1 of Delhi Test. Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets. Steve Smith top scored with 46 for the Aussies. Australia were 231 for 8 at stumps.

2)England route San Marino 8-0 in the World Cup qualifier

Ashley Young kicks the ball in the World Cup qualifier match of England against San Marino . England beat them 8-0 as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ashley Young, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge scored a goal each with Jermain Defoe scoring twice.

3)New Zealand pile up 443 before being bowled out on day 2 against England

Steven Finn reacts after taking a wicket, as New Zealand made their way to an impressive score of 443 before being bowled out by England on day 2 of the final Test at Auckland. Finn picked up 6 wickets. Peter Fulton starred for the Kiwis with an impressive 136. Series is squared at 0-0 as no team managed to win till now.

4)James Blake and Lleyton Hewitt through to the 2nd round of Sony Open

James Blake returns a shot, as he advanced to the second round of the Sony Open, beating American Ryan Harrison 6-2, 6-2 on Wednesday night. Two-time Grand Slam winner Lleyton Hewitt also won his opening match, beating Portugal’s Joao Sousa 6-1, 7-6 (3).

5)Harden stars in Houston Rockets beating Utah Jazz 100-93

Cleveland Cavaliers v Houston Rockets

Harden helped his side Houstan Rockets beat Utah Jazz 100-93, as he top scored for them with 29 points in the NBA match at the Toyota Center.

6)Russia coach Fabio Capello dismisses Chelsea rumors

Russian head coach negated all the rumors of him being linked with Chelsea this summer. There were speculations that he will be the boss of the club, especially after present boss Rafael Benitez announced his disinterest in coaching Chelsea after the summer.

7)Rose leads as Tiger stumbles in the Arnold Palmer Invitational

Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard - Round Two

Justin Rose fired a two-under par 70 to seize a share of the clubhouse lead in the second round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational as Tiger Woods stumbled.
