Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard continued his impressive form this season by winning the 2024 Swiss Indoors Basel title on Sunday, October 27, with a 6-4, 7-6(4) victory over Ben Shelton. This marks the Frenchman’s second title of the year, adding to his earlier win at the Lyon Open in May.

Mpetshi Perricard's victory in Basel earned him a hefty $472,130 from the tournament's $2,523,598 prize pool, while Shelton took home $254,025. Fourth seed Holger Rune and seventh seed Arthur Fils each received $135,380 after being eliminated in the semifinals.
Top seed Rublev, third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, Denis Shapovalov and David Goffin, each got $69,166 for a quarterfinal finish.
Players eliminated in the second round of the Swiss Indoors Basel — including defending champion and eighth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, fifth seed Ugo Humbert, Wawrinka, Alejandro Tabilo, Botic van de Zandschulp, Pedro Martinez, Dominic Stricker, and Roberto Bautista Agut — each took home $36,920.

Second seed Casper Ruud, Nuno Borges, Marin Cilic, Adrian Mannarino, Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Francisco Cerundolo, Alexander Bublik, Jiri Lehecka, Daniel Altmaier, Jerome Kym Matteo Arnaldi, Tallon Griekspoor, Nicolas Jarry, Sebastian Baez, James Duckworth, and Shang Juncheng, each bagged $19,693 for an opening-round finish.
Those knocked out in the first round of qualifying received $5,663, and those eliminated in the second round took home $10,093.
