Elena Rybakina recently shared her perspective on the significance of having her family present during the tennis season. She recognized the crucial role loved ones play in one's success on the court.

Petra Kvitova emerged victorious in the 2023 Miami Open, putting an end to Rybakina's impressive 13-match win streak. Kvitova locked in her win by converting two break points, ultimately claiming the title 7-6(14), 6-2 and securing her 30th career win.

During the post-match press conference, World No. 7 Rybakina was asked about her preparations for playing on clay. She stated that she is ready for the upcoming clay court season.

Rybakina also emphasized the importance of taking breaks from tennis to maintain a healthy balance in her life.

"I think I had good results in the past on clay. I think that I can play good on clay. So that's the question is just again being healthy and staying motivated, which is also important. Because when you play so many tournaments, it's not easy traveling all the time, so sometimes switch to something else," Rybakina said.

Rybakina also expressed her gratitude for having her sister Anna accompany her on tour, as it helps alleviate the stress of the demanding tennis tournaments.

"That's why my sister is here. She's helping out a bit, so it's not only tennis all the time (smiling). Yeah, just to try to do this good preparation. I don't have much time, but I think we still can do some good week," Elena Rybakina said.

Although Rybakina felt confident after her impressive performances in Indian Wells and Miami, she recognized the importance of proper preparation within her limited time. Rather than viewing this as a setback, she embraced it as a positive challenge to overcome.

"Yeah, after so many matches, I feel confidence is just, yeah, as I said, to try to do good preparation. I won't say that there is again a lot of time, but that's a good problem to have," she added.

Elena Rybakina has voiced her support for Wimbledon's decision to permit Russian and Belarusian players to participate in the Grand Slam event in 2023.

During her post-match press conference, the Kazakh shared her thoughts on Wimbledon's decision to lift the ban on Russian and Belarusian players. She expressed her support for the decision and deemed it the 'right' move.

"I mean, they have been playing like this for all the tournaments, so it was only Grand Slam they were not allowed, so I think that's the way that they are playing without any flags. I think it's right decision, I guess," she stated.
