Emma Raducanu recently shared a video of Daniil Medvedev performing his own rendition of Stefanos Tsitsipas' dancing celebration at the Italian Open.

On May 20, Medvedev defeated Tsitsipas 7-5, 7-5 to advance to the Italian Open final, his first claycourt final since the Barcelona Open in 2019. The Russian was clinical against Tsitsipas, converting each of his four break points and striking down 18 winners to notch up his eighth victory over the World No. 5.

Following his win, Medvedev continued his on-court feud with Tsitsipas by seemingly mocking the Greek's victory dance from their clash in the 2022 Cincinnati Open semifinal.

Emma Raducanu took to social media and reshared the clip of Medvedev and Tsitsipas' victory dances.

Raducanu pulled out of the 2023 Madrid Open in order to undergo three separate surgeries - on both wrists and her ankle. Having successfully completed each of the three procedures, the Brit, who is the fashion and beauty global ambassador for French luxury fashion house Dior, was recently spotted attending the brand’s Dior Cruise 2024 fashion event in Mexico City.

“The surgeries that she has had are, in my opinion, career-threatening" - Boris Becker on Emma Raducanu

In an interview with The Guardian, Boris Becker expressed his concerns over Emma Raducanu's career. He stated that the surgeries she has undergone, particularly on her wrists, could pose a significant threat to her future in the sport.

“The surgeries that she has had are, in my opinion, career-threatening. Having surgery on your playing wrist, and as a two-handed player, the other wrist – and then on your ankle – is tough to bear for a young woman,” he said.

The six-time Grand Slam champion also commented on the frequent changes to Raducanu's coaching team. Since her split with Andrew Richardson following the 2021 US Open, the Brit has worked with Torben Beltz, Dmitry Tursunov, and Sebastian Sachs.

Becker believes both Raducanu and her parents need to be open to seeking assistance in order for her to succeed.

“I’m not in her inner circle so I don’t know all the things that went off, although I’ve seen the coaching changes. And yeah, there are a couple of people – but not many – who could help her. But, first of all, she has to be ready for it. Her parents have to be ready for it. And if that’s not the case, then nobody can help," he said.
