Jannik Sinner's outburst during his quarterfinal match against Andrey Rublev at the 2024 Cincinnati Open has sparked hilarious reactions from several fans. The Italian staged a remarkable comeback to come back from a set down and beat the Russian 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 in two hours and 26 minutes.
Sinner was previously eliminated by Rublev in the quarterfinals of the Canadian Open, following which, he entered the Cincinnati Open. The Italian beat Alex Michelsen in the second round and received a walkover to the quarterfinals after his third-round opponent Jordan Thompson withdrew due to a rib injury.
Here, Sinner got his revenge against Rublev in a three-set thriller to reach the semifinals of the Masters 1000 event.

Zverev, a former champion in Cincinnati, has been in very good form this year at the Masters 1000 event. After receiving a bye in the opening round, he ousted Karen Khachanov and followed it up with a win against Pablo Carreno Busta. He came from a set down to defeat 12th Ben Shelton 3-6, 7-6(3), 7-5 to reach the final four.
Alexander Zverev leads Jannik Sinner 4-1 in their head-to-head. Their most recent meeting came at the US Open last year, where the German prevailed in five sets.
