Naomi Osaka recently showcased the new colorway of her shoes from her latest NOxNike spring/summer’24 collection, which features a unique asymmetrical design inspired by a mythical dragon and her favorite flowers. Osaka also playfully compared her shoes to her teammates’ shoes and declared herself the winner of the shoe competition.
Osaka signed a lucrative deal with the sportswear giant in 2019 and has released several collections, showcasing her fashion flair. Osaka’s latest collection, which was launched in May 2024, is described by Nike as:
"A refined spin on sportswear staples and singular outerwear pieces, with branded trims and discoverable details that tastefully bridge the gap between sport, luxury, and functionality."
The collection includes various items, such as a high-waisted woven skirt, a mock neck cropped tank top, a high-waisted breakaway shorts, and a cool tri-colored cardigan. But the highlight of the collection is undoubtedly the shoes, which are called the Nike GP Challenge 1 'Naomi Osaka' Premium.

Osaka shared her excitement about the new shoes on her Instagram account on Saturday, May 25, by posting a link to buy the shoes. In the next story, she and her team members can be seen in a circle showcasing their shoes at the clay courts of the French Open.
"Yeah I win the shoe competition for sure," Osaka wrote.
The 26-year-old posted another story where a glimpse of a towel is visible, with Naomi Osaka captioning it:
"He threw in the towel cause the shoes are absolutely sickening," Osaka wrote.
According to Nike’s official store, the shoes have a "quintessential Naomi Osaka" design, which blends the great strength, power, and good luck of a mythical dragon on the right shoe with the calming aura of some of the Japanese’s favorite flowers on the left.
The shoes have a distinct color scheme for each foot. The left sneaker has red accents on the toe box and heel counter, with patterned fabric in shades of pink, gold, black, and touches of green. The right sneaker features blue accents on similar areas with patterned fabric in blue, gold, black, and hints of white.
Osaka will be making her seventh appearance at the French Open where she is yet to advance beyond the third round. The Japanese will face Italian Lucia Bronzetti in the first round.

Cordae praised his girlfriend by leaving a complimentary comment on her Instagram post.
