Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian recently spoke about his large collection of NFTs based on the tennis legend.

Ohanian had earlier, during the red carpet walk at the Met Gala in 2021, flaunted an NFT based on his wife. The Reddit co-founder attended the event wearing a black tuxedo, which he accessorized with a badge of the NFT he bought for Williams. The outfit instantly became a huge hit in the NFT community.

Ohanian bought the NFT in 2021 from the CryptoPunks collection, which Mashable noted was "one of the rarest and most expensive NFTs you can own." The Williams CryptoPunk is one of the 3,840 "Female" punks and has a rare "Headband" trait, adding to its value.

A Twitter user recently expressed their admiration for the "Serena Punk" set, saying:

"@Alexisohanian and @Serenawilliams have created such a great Serena Punk set!"

In reply, Ohanian bragged about his huge collection of NFTs based on Serena Williams.

"Wait 'til you see the full extent of my Serena collection for her," Alexis Ohanian tweeted.

Ohanian's love of NFTs is well-known. The tech entrepreneur recently gifted Williams a Pink Ape NFT, and said that he would continue gifting his wife NFTs of her choice.

"I gifted my wife another NFT. I think she likes it," tweeted Ohanian.
"First I get you the SerenaPunk, now I get the pink ape you wanted... you realize I'm only gifting you NFTs from now on right?" Ohanian wrote on Twitter.

Serena Williams is set to appear in a Super Bowl commercial for French company Remy Martin. Speaking to PEOPLE, the former player said she was "honored and excited" to be working with the cognac house.

"I am honored and excited to be able to work with Rémy Martin, whose core values are so similar to my own personal principles," Williams said.

The 23-time Grand Slam singles winner hung up her boots following the 2022 US Open. Williams got through her first couple of matches at the New York Major unscathed, including a straight-sets win over second-seed Anett Kontaveit in the second round.

But the former World No. 1 was knocked out in the third round by Australian Ajla Tomljanovic. She lost 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-1 in what was the last professional tennis match of her illustrious career.
