"Ya'll will argue" - Coco Gauff jokingly warns against playing Family Feud after getting dragged into her family's heated dispute during Thanksgiving

Coco Gauff has shared a delightful glimpse of her family's fun Thanksgiving celebrations. The American hilariously shed light on their chaotic experience of playing the Family Feud board game together.

Gauff got into the festive spirit early this year, recently hosting a "Friendsgiving" at her house with her cousins. Organizing a potluck for the occasion, the 20-year-old contributed homemade sweet potato pie and banana bread for the scrumptious meal.

After a fan expressed doubt over whether she had cooked the food herself, the World No. 3 set the record straight. Refuting the claim that she was passing the staff's food off as her own, Gauff asserted that "it was really not that hard" to make the two dishes.

On Thanksgiving day, Coco Gauff headed over to celebrate with her family, sharing a glimpse of her dancing with her loved ones alongside an endearing "family over everything" message. The American spent quality time with her grandfather Eddie, posing for an adorable picture together.

They also played the Family Feud board game, with Gauff stepping into Steve Harvey's shoes as the host. Despite her hosting duties, the 20-year-old was dragged into the argument that ensued between her family, jokingly warning that Family Feud and Taboo were bound to cause arguments.

"Don't play this or taboo with your family ya'll will argue. lol 1 was just the host pretending to be Steve Harvey and somehow got involved jk but it's such a fun family game I def recommend!" she posted on her Instagram story.

Coco Gauff has often spoken about the importance of her family in her life, frequently gushing over her parents and younger brothers. During a press conference at the 2024 Wuhan Open, the 20-year-old expressed gratitude for her parents' "constant support." Having traveled with her mother Candi throughout the Asian swing, Gauff also highlighted their special bond.

"Yeah, I mean, both my parents are constant support all the time," Coco Gauff said. "My mom, it's just a motherly thing. There's nothing like a mother daughter relationship."

The American disclosed that her parents' presence always made tournaments easier to manage and emphasized that she would never grow out of wanting them around.

"Other than that, it's great to have my mom. She's my biggest fan for sure. Having one or both of my parents I think always makes the tournament easier. You don't have to take care of some things," she said.

"She's always reminding, me, Do you have your headphones, change of shoes, clothes? Just things that moms, dads, they all do. I don't think I'll ever grow out of that as long as they're alive," she added.

On the tennis front, Coco Gauff has been nominated for the WTA Player of the Year award for her stellar season. The World No. 3 will face tough competition from her fellow nominees, Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Jasmine Paolini, and Zheng Qinwen, for the honor.
