A recent report claimed Ben Affleck testified in Sean "Diddy" Combs' ongoing federal trial over charges related to an alleged sex crime. It was noted that Affleck's alleged testimony led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Jennifer Lopez.
A YouTube channel, Elite Vault, shared the video on June 5, captioning it:
"Judge Issues Arrest Warrant for Jennifer Lopez After Shocking Ben Affleck Testimony in Diddy Trial"
The 18-minute and 50-second-long video has garnered over 110K views at the time of writing. Per the narration, Ben Affleck's testimony allegedly pushed Combs to receive a death sentence. It reportedly led to a panicked Jennifer Lopez attempting to run away on a private jet at night.
However, claims made in this video are false. Ben Affleck was not on the witness list for Sean Combs' trial. Prosecutors have also never mentioned the actor since testimonies began in May.
Despite Ben Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Lopez's past relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder, the On The Floor hitmaker has not been on the witness list either.
A disclaimer added to Elite Vault's viral video clarified that the content of this channel is fabricated for entertainment purposes:
"The stories presented on this channel are entirely fictional and crafted solely for entertainment. Any resemblance to real events, individuals, or situations is purely coincidental and unintentional. These narratives are not intended to depict, reference, or represent any actual occurrences, persons, or entities."
Ben Affleck's alleged testimony in Diddy's trial did not lead to a reported arrest warrant for Jennifer Lopez
According to Elite Vault's video, Ben Affleck took the stand with a notebook in his hand. He reportedly spoke about an underground tunnel beneath a mansion where "alleged countless victims were brought in only to leave forever changed if they left at all".
The narration implicated Jennifer Lopez's presence in the courtroom, which is another false report. The 55-year-old actress and singer did not attend any of Combs' trials, nor was she summoned by the prosecutors or the defense attorneys.
Jennifer Lopez and Diddy began a romance in 1999 and ended things in 2001. Since November 2023, when sexual assault allegations against Combs started piling up, Lopez's name and pictures alongside the rapper had made rounds on social media. She was also mentioned in a $400M lawsuit against Combs.
A prisoner who sued Sean Combs in December 2024 demanded that Lopez testify against the rapper. Jennifer Lopez's name was briefly mentioned during Cassie's testimony in May, where the R&B singer said Lopez did not stay out late at night with her and Combs.
There have been no public reports of an arrest warrant being issued for Jennifer Lopez. According to Elite Vault's bio on YouTube:
"All content on this channel is purely fictional and created for entertainment purposes only. Any similarities to real-life events are purely coincidental. Viewer discretion is advised."
Due to a lack of factual evidence and credible sources, the report about Ben Affleck's alleged testimony in Diddy's trial, followed by Jennifer Lopez's arrest warrant, can be inferred as fake.
